Let's see if Mr Gao is in the stands this weekend or the next home game after that. That may send a message. Interesting days ahead for sure. Keep the faith.

Good points raised here by the chaps but all in all we just don't know how this will pan out but i feel more optamistic the deal has been done. The Lowe days seem a long time ago, thank god. Upwards and onwardd

Last year Macau Business Daily reported: "Lander’s business scope has shifted entirely from property investment to the organization of sports activities; design, construction and management of stadiums; research and sales of sporting goods as well as engaging in sports agency business." From reading some news reports, I felt this text above sounded promising. It is not just about spending big on players, I feel. It is growing every part of the club which I hope this new Chinese connection can do.

I'm not one of those that will demand/expect vast spending to happen, would rather have a steady continued progression. I think it is good that Katrina has kept 20% a decent chunk that she will still be keen to see grow with the club doing well. The one thing I am intrested to know as I can't find any information on it anywhere is the net worth of the Gao Family, as is handy in modern times to have a very wealthy owner even for the occasional bridging loan going forward, any info on that would be interesting.

Forgive me if I'm missing something here? I'm not very good at maths and equally as bad with economics but by my rudimentary calculations, even our players combined valuations amount to more than we've just sold 80% of the entire outfit for? Someone please tell me I've made a fundamental error and that SFC is worth more than just Neymar and a couple of pairs of his socks?

I don't think the value includes players ^^

Blogs 31 bloggersKnees-up Mother Brown #19 by wessex_exile February, and the U’s enter the most pivotal month of the season. Six games in just four weeks, with four of them against sides also in the bottom six. By March we should be either well clear of danger, or even deeper in the sh*t. With Danny Cowley’s U’s still unbeaten, and looking stronger game on game, I’m sure it’ll be the former, but first we have to do our bit to consign Steve ‘Sour Grapes’ Cotterill’s FGR back to non-league. After our shambolic 5-0 defeat at New Lawn, nothing would give me greater pleasure, even if it meant losing one of my closest awaydays in the process. What’s the excuse going to be today Steve – shocking pitch, faking head injuries, Mexican banditry or some other bit of sour-grapery bullsh*t? Manchester City Polls |
