City To Bid For Wilshere Sunday, 8th Mar 2015 12:49 Manchester City are set to launch a sensational bid for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to The Daily Star Sunday. The Citizens are set to strengthen their home grown players in the squad with rumours of interest in Everton's Ross Barkley and West Ham's Aaron Cresswell as well. Wilshere came up through Arsenal's youth academy. He made his first team debut in 2008, becoming Arsenal's youngest ever league debutant at the age of 16 years, 256 days.
