Milner Rescues A Draw Monday, 9th Feb 2015 11:41 James Milner managed to rescue a point for Manchester City as they continue to struggle. The draw at home to Hull City who started the match three places from the foot of the table left City seven points behind the leaders Chelsea. The champions are now without a win in their last five games in all competitions - including four in the league - and now face an uphill task to retain the Premier League title. City's defence was exposed by Hull’s gentle probing and when the visitors hit the woodwork early on, it was not a wake-up call but a warning and David Meyler gobbled up a rebound to give them the lead after 35 minutes. As Manchester City ramped up the pressure in the second half, Edin Dzeko went close before Sergio Aguero saw a shot hit the crossbar. Time appeared to have run out for Manuel Pellegrini's side but in the second minute of added time substitute Milner bent in a wicked free-kick to rescue a draw.
