City Could Make A Move For Ings In The Summer
Wednesday, 4th Feb 2015 18:03

Manchester City are reportedly weighing up making a move for Burnley striker Danny Ings in the summer.

The 22 year old has hit seven goals in twenty two appearances in his first season in the Premier League for struggling Burnley. He was linked with a move away on Transfer Deadline day to Premiership Liverpool, but the move did not materialise. Ings will be out of contract in the summer but any club wishing to sign the player would have to pay Burnley compensation.

City are keen to add to their homegrown talent with Frank Lampard leaving in the summer and Ings fits that bill. Tottenham are also said to be keen on securing the services of Ings. Another play who would come under the homegrown label is Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez's who City are also monitoring.
