City Look To Build Friday, 28th Nov 2014 09:32 City look to put their inconsistent form in the Premier League behind them this Sunday as they travel to St.Mary's to take on an in form Southampton. The Saints are unbeaten in seven games while City boss Pellegrini has challenged his team to win all of their seven remaining matches in the Premier League in 2014. Southampton currently lie two points ahead of City in the table. A victory would move the Blues second and keep up the pressure on leaders Chelsea. Team News City players David Silva and Edin Džeko have a chance of returning to the squad from injury in time for the encounter, while the left back Aleksander Kolarov is likely to miss the game, and be sidelined for another week. Yaya Toure and Fernandinho will be available again, and rested, after their suspension in midweek. Southampton will be without long-term absentee Jay Rodriguez – who is reported to be a week or two away from returning – as well as James Ward-Browse, Morgan Schneiderlin, Steven Davis and Sam Gallagher all being minor doubts. Stats Southampton have conceded just 6 goals in 12 games. Aguero has contributed half of City's 24 goals this season.
