Joe Hart and James Milner have received confirmation today that they will be on their way to Brazil this summer after being picked for Roy Hodgson's England squad for the World Cup finals.

The Manchester City duo featured regularly in qualifying under Roy Hodgson and are included in the squad of 23 that the manager will take to Brazil.

The pair were the only City players to make the squad. Micah Richards, Jack Rodwell, Joleon Lescott, Gareth Barry, who have all been capped at international level, did not make the squad.

England are set to play Peru at Wembley on May 30 before Hodgson confirms his final squad selection on June 2. Hodgson's side will then play Ecuador on June 4 and Honduras on June 7 during a training camp in Miami, before the World Cup starts on June 12.

England kick off the tournament against Italy on June 14th.
