The Championship is full of ex Tier 1 clubs just making up the numbers.
Without decent owners that’s what we’ll be.
Then more and more of the kids will follow Liverpool, Arsenal and the like.
Brentford, Brighton, Fulham, Bournemouth, Forest and Palace seem to be doing ok in The PL.
Why can’t we?
Because we have a team full of Championship players and a manager, like the last one, who is also no good at Premier League level.

The Championship (like every other league) is great if you’re doing well and winning games.
Last year an example.
Ask the Luton fans if they’re having a good time stuck at the bottom of the league.
They are looking at back to back relegations.

But there’s a pub at the ground now that opens at 9am every day (except the sabbath), a club shop that opens 3 days a week and metal fencing around St Mary’s Stadium that makes it look like a prison.
Throw in a team full of Championship players playing in The Premier League.
The only thing they have done right is sign Ramsdale.
But he’ll be gone in the summer.
They’ll make a profit on him.

I’ve not attended a home game since Boxing Day.
That is my protest.
My seat remains empty.
If I can sell my Season Ticket on the exchange, good.
If not the seat remains empty.
There will have to be a decent manager in charge for the start of next season for me to renew.
I can watch us get beat every week from the comfort of my sofa.
Look where Luton are in the table tonight.

Slug & Lettuce 2 4 1 cocktails.
Mayflower Village excellent lagers.
O’Neills for its Hearty Breakfast.
The best matchday pub is 5 Rivers now Bedfords is no more.
No piss taking beer prices.
Lots of room.
Loads of screens for the tv games.
Bands on post match.
Food is top notch. |

Only replace the manager for someone better.
Hasenhüttl might as well of stayed.
He got the bullet with us in the relegation zone.
He was replaced by an inferior manager at Premier League level.
Is it the same story with Martin and Juric?
Russell Martin deserved a crack at Premier League football.
Unfortunately it was with Championship players.
Also his refusal to stop the suicidal passing around the back when we could all see we didn’t have the standard of player to play that way.
Not paying Sheffield Wednesday £5m for Danny Rohl and employing Juric screams of get us to the end of the season and if you’ve done any good you can stay on.
10 year plan?
More like a 10 month plan.

Manning has been better in The Premier League than last season in The Championship. |
