Charlie posted on twitter yesterday that he'd been diagnosed with ADHD. Said the medication he had been given has been life changing. He's just been on Radio 5 (around 8:45am for anyone who wanted to listen) talking about it.

| Forum Thread | Season ticket question at 20:58 1 Aug 2024
Annoyingly I'm missing the first two games of the season. A friend of mine is taking my season tickets. Will a screen shot of the QR code in my Google wallet get him in or are they time sensitive? |

Any idea when they might announce season ticket prices for next year? Thinking I'll get one for me and my kids in the family stand. Anyone in there remember what the prices were for adults and under 18s? |
| Forum Thread | Probate/Estate planning question at 09:09 27 Jan 2024
Morning all. I'm in the process of seeking professional financial advice but I thought, seeing as how there are so many great minds on here, someone might be able to help with a question my sisters and I have about our parents estate. My dad died last February. My parents were separated but not divorced and they remained close friends so he left his pension, property and assets to my mum when he died. We are nearly through probate for my dad's estate so my mum will soon own his house as well as hers. Unfortunately, we had to move her into a care home in May as she has Dementia and was no longer safe living on her own. Care costs are around £100k per year so we were working on the assumption that renting both would be the best option to help cover the cost of care. My mum's house is already rented out so my first question would be, if we are renting my mum's house to pay towards her care, would it no longer qualify as her main residence after she dies? If she has no main residence then we could potentially miss out on the additional inheritance tax threshold for passing on a main residence. Following on from that, any thoughts/opinions on selling both houses and putting money into AIM shares in the hope that she lives at least two more years and then money invested in shares becomes IHT free? It's all quite complex and we're just trying to figure out the best course of action. As I said, we are in the process of getting professional advice but it would be good to know if anyone has experienced similar scenarios or has any knowledge in this area of tax/estate planning. Thanks |

Might have missed an earlier thread but my word, this 16 year old is something else. Just completely schooled Barney. He was banging in treble 19s for fun. Doesn't seem to feel any pressure whatsoever. He 16! 🤯🤯🤯 |
| Forum Thread | Visit to the cottage at 19:41 20 Aug 2022
Mate gave me his season tickets to Fulham today. In the Putney end right next to the Brentford fans. Not been to craven cottage since watching us there with Rob Steiner in attack around 1999. They've smartened the place up a bit. Lovely ground. Thought it was a bit odd going through the same turnstiles as the Brentford fans but both sets of fans seemed to mix without any bother. Was glorious seeing the Brentford goal disallowed by VAR. Their fans fans think they're the dogs bollocks so I was delighted when Mitrovic banged in a late winner to ruin their day. Sitting next to a bloke in Burgundy shoes, burgundy trousers and a burgundy shirt. Wonder if it was our mate Konk. Crowd seemed a bit more Rugby/Cricket then what I'm used to at Loftus Road although that may have just been the stand I was in. All in all a good day out. Nice watching a game with nothing really riding on it after the disappointment of watching us against Blackpool on Tuesday. |

https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/12558448/qpr-1-2-cardiff-c Was at the game. Gray miss in second half looked poor in the ground but on those highlights looks even worse. Take a touch man! Absolute garbage. Yes he scored but he's crap. Marshall at fault for both goals. First one weak hands and the FK was a good strike but it was right next to him. Who knows if Seny saves both but I don't think he lets 2 soft goals in. Dickie looked to go down a bit easy. Inconsistency the infuriating thing from the ref. [Post edited 5 Mar 2022 18:35]

Thought it deserved its own thread. Seemed to have a life of its own tonight and contributed to a slightly below par performance from our favourite Frenchman. |

I have 6 tickets for the Bournemouth game. 3 adults, 2 kids and 1 under 21. We've decided not to go due to certain members of our group being more vulnerable than others. If anyone wants the tickets let me know. In the spirit of Christmas you can have them for free. |
