So did I. But I had to wait a bloody long time after he signed to do so.

Derisory Bid Shows Why Aston Villa Are Not the Club For James Ward Prowse
at 17:01 4 Aug 2021

There is a report out there suggesting that Villa would expect to pay him £75k per week. Which I would suggest is not a lot more than we are currently paying since his new contract

Large Scale Apathy

Unfortunately I will not be renewing. But not for any of the the reasons reasons showing here. In my case simply old age, failing health and difficulty in walking. It’s been a difficult decision as I have been a regular supporter since the start of the 1953/54 season (when we had just been relegated to Div3 South) and a season Ticket holder since 1964. So 67 years as a supporter and 56 years as a ST holder. I think I’ve done my bit.
I will still support them from my armchair and wish Saints every good fortune for the coming seasons.

Look, as I said in another site, if Ralph thinks he has something to offer us, it’s enough for me. Just trust Ralph

First Ever Saints Game

I think that’s the game where Bestie got sent off and Rodney Marsh threw his toys out of the pram by booting the ball into touch when it came his way.

First Ever Saints Game
at 13:20 22 Aug 2020

I must be old compared to you lot. First game v Luton on 27th December 1949. We had played them away the day before. We won 2 - 1 but being 5 years old I don’t remember much. Watched the game from my uncle’s shoulders whilst in the Milton. From what I read this game was the first one where the chocolate boxes were used. Anyway almost 27000 watched it.

1) Are you supportive of football returning behind closed doors for the remainder of season 2019/20 (Yes, no, unsure)
NO

2) How should Premier League Clubs recognise the importance of fans if they can’t be in the stadium?
They can’t. The season should end now and a new season starting on time in August.

3) How could fans be involved in matchday if they can’t attend in person?
They can’t

4) How should the Premier League address the challenge of silence in stadia when broadcasting matches?
There is no way. What are they proposing, someone in the stadium with a ‘crowd noises’ track, and play ‘oohs’ ‘goooaaal’ and ‘f*** off Ref’ at appropriate moments.

5) Would your view on any of the above change if the Premier League had to carry on playing behind closed doors during Season 2020/21?
Not at all.

The British public solidly behind the government

But they are not. Look at the graph at the bottom and see what has happened since 1st May. A significant closing of the gap - in 23 days. By the time of the next set of elections in May 2021 that could be a very interesting graph.

And before I get accused of being a rabid left winger, I do not support any political party but I keep a wary eye on all of them.

Sorry, but disagree. If I had a child with an underlying health condition, I would do exactly this.

And for the record I bloody hate Deeney.
