"hate" is the wrong term. I think a lot of fans (+ the new ownership group) were fed up of the lack of engagement & investment after so much was promised in the Summer of 2016.
It would be so refreshing if new thoughts and analysis were posted instead of the same repetitive posts some of which are very untrue (WoL is not the only source in the world).
Good luck to Coleman and the new investors. Hopefully things will improve quickly.
It feels the club has been decaying over the last 8-9 years. The lack of engagement with the fans, and the lack of investment (at key times when we were pushing for promotion) has set the club back big time. It is a steep learning curve for the new owners..... and this is why they and Luke need support with someone who has experience of this league.
Most EPL clubs who will be loaning players out will want players to join teams which are competitive in the Championship. eg Gilchrist (Chelsea) at Sheffield United.
If we struggle against QPR and Luton then I can't any exciting signings happening for us.
And if the recruitment strategy is strong then loan ratchet deals should not be an issue for us. Great loan players (eg Conor Gallager) play every game because they are better than what we have got - so there are no financial penalties.
It is coming up to 12 months since Coleman appointed Williams. Gude and Coleman must ask themselves - is the team moving in the right direction and if it isn't - why isn't it.
