Actually, it's 100% that it won't. The terms of the Sky deal includes...
"All opening, final day, and midweek fixtures in the Sky Bet EFL will be shown live."
and
"The new deal allows for 'Article 48', the blocked broadcast period between 2.45pm and 5.15pm on Saturday afternoons to remain, meaning that main broadcast fixtures will be scheduled for outside of this time."
Right now final day fixtures for Championship, L1 and L2 are all down as 3pm Saturday so to meet the deal terms all of them will have to move.
I'd not be surprised if 12:30 Saturday, 4pm Saturday and 4pm Sunday will be assigned to each league.
My guess is we get Sunday 4pm, mostly because the Prem has that slot a few weeks later.
Edit : actually I forgot that it is Bank Holiday weekend so I guess something could move to the Monday slots.
Kelman's performance was positively commented on by Tony Cascarino in the Times yesterday.
"Charlie Kelman, the striker on loan from Queens Park Rangers, was a real throwback. He made City’s defenders work for absolutely everything, won duels, ran channels and, on another day, might have capped his performance with a goal."
My immediate thought was Rodney as he is, in my opinion, the best I’ve sever seen in the hoops. Having considered it for a while I changed my mind because he was never a luxury player. Anyone who averages a goal every other game isn’t a luxury.
So Adel or Stan? Stan worked hard almost every match and so, on the strictest definition of luxury it has to be Adel. How lucky are we to have had these three?
The thing we don’t know is whether when Spurs released Morgan did they just cast him aside or did they put him in contact with us with a recommendation. If it’s the latter then it’s clearly a benefit of that relationship.
Initially I thought the ref was doing ok, letting the game flow and not over-reffing it but as the match went on he got worse and worse and to my mind his last 30 minutes (particularly because of his inconsistency) was one of the worst I've seen since Stroud was poncing around. I'd be happy to never see him again.
Wasn't why we lost but that doesn't mean he wasn't very ess, haitch, one, tee.
Illy did just fine. Maybe not reaching his highest standards of recent times but he's still one of the first names on the teamsheet.
Last night they were doubling up on him every time, sometimes with a third nearby as a backup. Saito didn't get that treatment so was able to be more of an impact. We should have taken better advantage of Illy pulling defenders towards him than we did.
