| Forum Thread | Disappointed of Tunbridge Wells at 00:40 23 Jun 2019
Obviously I’m not from Tunbridge Wells.... it’s a 70’s thing, ask you dad. But What’s the point of interviewing BBM... absolute soft leading questions and the answers offer no detail or insight.... makes Boris Johnson sound insightful and direct. It’s like this: Leanne- ‘Brian, is it true to say night follows day’... BBM - ‘erm... yes, we often find that indeed, night does follow day... and occasionally day, follow night’ Leanne ‘interesting and insightful Brian’ So after no interviews for about 2 months we get a 3ish minute update.... no discussion as to why Daniel has move from 1st team football at the Dale and joined Norwich u23... come on, that’s the end if him then. Also, BBM says no signings due to a slow market and clubs being slow in releasing players.... really? Have you seen the release thread? Anyway... i’m Worried. Hope i’m Wrong. |
| Forum Thread | Hill's reflection on Tenerife at 19:31 14 Jul 2017
Keith seems a bit reflective and down on his interview about the week in Tenerife. Spoke about up to 6 players who are just not developing and consistently on the wrong side of competent (ok I made that bit up). Said he will look to meet with them and possible move these players on, as they are constantly involved in losing games, not putting the work in etc... I have no clue who they could be... but suspect there may be surprises in this list... maybe Cannon? |

bit dry this... but I would recommend starting an endowment with some of the money. Add to the endowment as an when possible... maybe one day the interest on the endowment will cover the clubs day to day running costs. May take 100 years... but we are already over 100 years old..... |

For those in the Middle East, the match is on BEin Sports 5. Arabic commentary, but I guess that's why we have a mute button. |

You'd be surprised... some people are offended by their own shadows……. Personally, if they wear poppies or not, as am former airman, I’m not particularly bothered. |

Erm Sorry if this has already been covered; Sorry for not knowing this; and Sorry for being too lazy to figure it out myself... but..... Anyone know what the Dale's record league winning streak is? I have been following the Dale since 1990 and although I remember some remarkable runs, I don't seem to recall too many five league wins in a row. Is this current run near breaking any records? |
| Forum Reply | Next England manager? at 21:48 3 Jul 2016
Please God, never Gary Neville.... I still fail to see what people see in him. Bit like Paul Ince, in theory, he should be capable' but never will be. I'd still go for Martin O'Neil; or Jurgen Klopp. |

I thought it was rubbish Chris Evans voice (like a hamster on helium)... did my head in. recycled old ideas with rubbish presenters. Interesting to see what Clarkson et al come up with on Amazon Prime. |
| Forum Reply | Gary Neville at 07:59 31 Mar 2016
I am not convinced that former premier league players should automatically get top jobs. Sherwood, Ince, Neville etc seem to get top jobs with no real management experience. It must be frustrating to other managers in lower leagues, doing excellent job but never get a chance because 'bigger name' former players are perceived to know what they are doing. I remain skeptical that Gary or Phil Neville will ever cut the grade as a manager at any level. Sorry to be a grumpy b/stard. |
| Forum Thread | Two YearContracts - trouble at Mill at 05:34 17 Feb 2016
I am just wondering if the core players two year contracts may have been one of the reasons for the team’s complacency (in Hills words) over the last couple of months? Has this relative job security made the key players take their foot off the gas? How has this elite core of preferred players affected the dynamics of the team? Think about it, if you’re a player with a contract due to expire at the end of the season and there appears to be a ‘preferred’ core of player. I wander how this affects the team’s spirits and cohesiveness. Our current form is relegation fodder, reminds me of the early season under Eyre. That said, it’s a learning curve for the management team and we should come out of this stronger for the next season. |

In series one of the walking dead, zombies got onto the roof... just saying, this roof thing will never work. |
| Forum Thread | BBC 5 Live Breakfast at 12:09 4 Jun 2015
Dan Jones (of Deloitte) was yapping on about the Premier League Review on Wake Up To Money. They finished by saying that the Rochdale Chairman would be interviewed later on 5 live breakfast. Anyone hear it, or know what he said? |
