I'm afraid promotion is probably too much to ask for this season. But if it could be achieved I don't think it would be something to fear. With the Cowleys in charge and providing Mr Cowling gives them a reasonable budget in the summer I'd expect Colchester United to have enough to survive in League One.
Anyway, let's hope promotion isn't looking even less likely after tonight's trip to Meadow Lane. |

I agree with your title but back in the sixties and seventies Cardiff City played regularly in The European Cup-winners Cup. I don't know when the rules changed. |

I hadn't realised just how outstanding that one team is till I took a quick look at the top of the table. What a superb job Sadler has done with The Saddlers and there seemed no sign of how good they'd be ante-post. It is significant that he's had two full pre-seasons and they didn't allow the shock 2-6 home defeat to Fleetwood Town, ironically three days after their 4-0 win against The U's, to affect them at all. |

It's such a disappointment just when the team seemed to be gelling and looking good.
Who is going to be missing? Anderson and Goodliffe I presume. Is Lyle Taylor still out and has DC revealed any other absentees? |
