Bristol Rovers, Crawley or Birmingham 15:35 - Jan 8 with 7788 viewsdan_swansea

Who would you prefer to play in the 4th round of the FA Cup?
I'm hoping Bristol Rovers can get through because I go to Bristol University so it'll be a nice and easy one to get to.

Bristolians don't like us much .... Eastville used to be a lovely trip in early 80's

I went in the League 1 campaign and we won 2-0. Great away trip to be fair, Bristol City on the other hand...

was that in 2004? That was my first ever away trip and a little lively. We got a police escort all the way back to the train station, annoyingly they took us all the way to Parkway though!

I'd favour them to the other two, would defo like to avoid Brum.

Rovers, as I live in Briz.

How many grounds have they had? I've been to them all i think apart from Eastville as I was too young. There was always trouble when we went up there.I can remember us losing there and i think Cusack was Player manager?Night game it was and I remember the police escort back to Bristol Parkway as it was about 2 hours.Ridiculous.It was the worst away end I've ever been in also and situated at the side of the pitch.I liked it when they played in Bath as it was always a good piss up before and after the game and the edginess that things could go tits up any second.

Ah it's just come back to me now it was the Memorial ground and then Twerton Park.

The gas would do me too. I know some of their supporters too. Good lads but right piss heads but genuinely loyal. Been to a few games with them for a drunken day out. Remind me of our boys when things were bad. If we played them and lost mind, it really would be goodnight Irene. They are utter dogs**t.

It'll be Brummer won't it, and a chance to put the record straight.

To be fair a lot has changed since then and I think 99% of Bristolians wanted us to go up before Cardiff did. When we were at City for our last 2 visits fans mingled and I didn't see any trouble at all.

15 min walk to Rovers for me, so that would be lovely. Failing that Crawley as I didn't make it to the cup game there last season, and Brum isn't too bad anyway since it's just up the road.

Remember going there once in the early 80s. Big queues outside after kick off and if I remember correctly we scored before I got in. Can't remember much more about it though.

Can see it being Birmingham really, though I'd prefer us to get Bristol. If it is Birmingham then I expect Laudrup will be taking it more seriously than our last trip there.

Bristol. Although we would only get about 1500 tickets.
I remember the Eastville ground too, wooden stand, huge terrace behind the goal. Greyhound track too. Then it burnt down!!!!

Don't mind Brum though, we would have loads of tickets for that one.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.
