Is Aljazeera and the internet slowly killing attendances? 22:53 - Nov 22 with 1080 viewsSwanzay

With the ease of accessing Swans matches on digital media these days,is this preventing people for spending £35 for a match day ticket or £45 (stupid money considering the current economic climate in Swansea)
When they can spend £60 approx if your so inclined for a online season , or free to watch every match via your armchair in HD?
This club needs to combat this for the lessor clubs, by offering beter deals, thoughts/ideas?

Not so much regarding home games, but, on a personal level, for away games I am finding it more and more attractive, rather than spend up to a £100 on an away day and being on the road for up to 8 hours, to wander 200 yards to my local pub and watch all away games on a giant TV screen while consuming a couple of pints.

The streams have improved a lot this season than previous. Our first season in the PL was torture to find a decent link.It would go down in the pubs and everyone would be tamping.

There's no substitute for being at a game though.

True, but sometimes it's just a lot less hassle to just knock one out to some online porn than it is to take someone out to an expensive dinner halfway across the country.

Swansea's attendances now are higher than they have been in at least 30yrs, and if the liberty was bigger those attendances would be even bigger too. Just because some cup games don't sell out some people think there's a problem, I don't.

Poll: Have Swansea got some of the most negative w@nkers following them
