Redknapp 17:19 - May 12 with 14845 views | johnhoop | Is anybody else(apart from the Southampton trolls who can p-ss right off),beginning to have serious misgivings about his managerial ability given his totally sh-t team selections week after week?
Redknapp on 19:13 - May 13 with 1477 views | derbyhoop | As an alternative to Hughes, Redknapp was, by and large, welcomed. There were some quibbles, largely related to the likelihood of expensive transfer dealings, rather than motivational abilities. I would say that, since the 45th minute at Villa Park, the squad has accepted that relegation was very likely and the performance levels have fallen off a cliff. The great motivator hasn't seemed capable of turning that attitude around. Given our position, he is still the best choice, but he is definitely on notice from a large portion of the fanbase.

It does look to me that Redknapp is talking his way out of the job but I don't think Fernandes will sack him

I think SAF and many other managers would have achieved survival with this bunch of players and 20 million to spend in January. The Hughes excuse ran out months and months ago.Look at the facts they speak for themselves.Harry got lucky at Spurs and hailed as a genius and his man management was the main reason given by his mates in the media. He managed to turn round a team that was sitting nearly bottom of the PL after 8 games and his great management got them into the CL.The truth was he inherited a team that finished top 6 the previous season and had a bad start and a manager that the players had no respect. Most Spurs fans will tell you he was lacking in his tactics and most of his transfer dealings were poor.

So you honestly believe a man that was at one stage the people's choice for the England job could not turn around a situation where he was 6 points adrift with 70 + points to play for a transfer window and millions to spend ? No your right Arry should not take any blame.

Redknapp on 12:21 - May 14 with 1255 views | R_from_afar | I am desperately hoping that Redknapp can sort us out and get us back up next season. I cannot express how much I want that. But... 1 - Redknapp keeps talking about us as if he is some bystander who is powerless to intervene, yet he is the manager, for goodness sake! It's time for him to stop distancing himself from us. 2 - I worry that he is unable (or unwilling to make the effort) to spot up and coming talent (unless they are at Spurs). 3 - He has displayed the petulance of a stroppy toddler. Example: Putting two 'keepers on the bench. That nearly did it for me, that was a totally brainless thing to do. 4 - Every since his tasteless "pants down" comment, Redknapp has been throwing our owners' money around like it's confetti. Once the new season starts, Redknapp is out of excuses, totally out of excuses. If we stumble, it's his fault. Let's see if he really is a great coach and manager or if he is actually really the "chief buyer". I have a fair amount of confidence in him but he has not delivered much yet. RFA

Arry has neither the nouse nor the minerals to drag this Club back around

I can't argue with any of that. Two things make me hold judgement: 1. He may change his tune in the Championship (it's days away). 2. We've done a lot better since Hughes. (Is there a transfer window in the Championship? I can't remember.) He is definitely not a clueless manager like any recent example, so give him a chance up tp where it may decide the season.

Is it really true he's been throwing money around though? Samba and Rémy were persuaded to come to us, and signed by Fenandes, according to both TF and Redknapp. Which leaves Jenas, Townsend's loan and, I guess, Ben Haim as HR's only signings so far.

Whatt?! You're putting Samba and Rémy down to Uncle Tony?? So, he didn't ask his manager who he wanted to get for the team?

The long and short of it is thus: Hughes did a disastrous job in the close season and first 3-4 months. Redknapp hasn't done a very good job since coming in, given there were 25 league games left and he spent over £20m. And he increasingly appears to be doing a worse job as each week goes by. The problem as always, is this, "who is out there who is definitely better?"

My mistake I thought this post was about the errors Arry has made, and sadly there have been quiet a few. We have covered MH and his obvious errors, he's gone now blob, let him go,you will feel so much better. Will also allow you to take off your anti MH blinkers and see what a poor, poor job Arry is doing, quiet a few on here have taken theirs off,and if the pub I was in on Sunday is anything to go by quiet a few QPR fans not on here have as we'll.
