Bootsie & Snudge was a 'spin-off' series from another programme called 'The Army Game'.
Alfie Bass and Bill Fraser were two of the most popular TV actors of their day. I'm not sure it would seem half as funny if viewed today. Very funny at the time though.
I'd like to see 'Til death as well as Love Thy Neighbour and Ain't Half Hot Mum, but somehow I think the dubious content might mean we have to settle for the memories.
Ain't Half...was refused another showing simply because there were white actors, 'blacked up' to appear as Indians.
