Penny might have dropped
Grins really was overated
He really was no captain
Cabsngo showing just how badly Martin and Williams have treated him
A great young pro and honest lad
A credit

Obrien is clearly, in his first game, different level
He's one we should " invest" in

This is quality we see in him

This post made me grin.

Grins has gone is there any chance we can move on?

A good win but let's be honest here. Bristol could have been a couple of goals up in the first half. The second half was an improvement.

Exactly
It was brilliant per se but after our appalling performances the win is sweeter

That's another of if my auntie had balls situation though, fact is they didn't score and we did and we needed three points far more than them and hopefully it'll give us the confidence to kick on starting on Wednesday.

Agreed! An unexpected but much needed away 3 pointer. We'll be looking back at this win when and if they stay up.

TBH I think it will take more than one result to turn the supporters around. I will be going but in still in the Williams out camp. Williams comment in the interview was very telling about him having faith in the players and he hopes they have faith in him.

"I believe in them and hopefully they believe in me because they looked like they wanted to play for the club and for each other.

He doesn't help himself does he?

I was a profiling goalscorer my whole playing career, finishing scoring winning goals for Wales Senior Walking Football in international matches. No way on earth was that an easy chance, nothing like it. It was get a touch on the ball and hope for the best. Why some people watch football matches is way beyond my understanding

Walking football? FFS 🙄

I need to apologise for some of my posts on here, I'm quite ashamed to read back some of my comments. I think the chemotherapy has hit me harder than I realised. I want to apologise to anyone I upset today after much a good result.

Imagine if we could have a midfield of Franco, O’Brien and Widell next season. A new centre half and a winger plus striker we are looking decent.

We’d have been battered if Grimes played today. We would have been turned over in possession easily . Today was a big big win and an even bigger performance. Bye bye handbrake welcom O’Brien

Never apologise.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

That midfield does sound tasty.
O’Brien looked very good in what I saw today. Definite upgrade .

Who knows, maybe our managers have been forced to “play to our strengths” since grimes has come into the first team and felt the need to play that way.
Maybe now the shackles are off. A new type of CM takes a new type of play.
Williams said himself , he now needs to find the best way to play (post grimes).

We, along with Sheffield United and Burnley are the only sides to win there all season. Our players testicles were massive today. Great win and a much improved cohesive performance

I don't rate him he's been here long enough now and shows nothing in my opinion, he should have scored, but he slid in to make contact with the ball its was a decent opportunity to score, but he couldn't really guide the ball into the either corner due to the speed of the ball and him sliding in, it's one of them really on another day it goes in.

Sorry meant to up arrow - that was not easy. Eom did well to get a good contact on the ball keeper got lucky

Number of players who were expected to push on this season but have struggled, again struggled in that first half but it appeared with O'Brien help by staying competitive in the midfield he enabled players do the jobs they are capable of, it was nice to see Eom moving across the midfield with options available to him, Ronald played his part not giving their winger time on the ball getting a foot in. It took time to settle in that first half and Vigouroux stopped a couple, it could have gone the other way but in the end a win's is a win and is all we wanted at the moment, nice team effort.

I was right behind the goal when that ball came to Eom , the ball was crossed with pace on it and Eom was racing in to get on the end of it, he had to stretch to make contact and caught it really well, probably too well ,if he’d missed kicked it,it probably would’ve gone in , but in fairness sometimes you just have to say the keeper made a good save.
