Just when you thought this thread was Dunne.

Sorry to re-incarnate it.

Has Jimmy developed a tic of some description? Watching on the stream last night, pretty much every time the camera panned on him he made this twitchy head movement. I've never seen him do that before.

I noticed that too....saw it a lot. Maybe he got some sort of spasm injury, twicked neck.

Wasn’t the £2m figure reliant on him winning the grand national or stealing the Koh-i-Noor or something?

£400k the upfront figure I heard, which defo isn’t enough.

I can't believe that anybody Still thinks we could have got £2m for Dunne in January. That may have been the QPR valuation, but with at least 18 months to run on his contract, not 5 months.
If any bid had come from a PL club, as opposed to an aspiring one, Mr Wilder, then it may have been different.
The next step should be to get him a new deal and if somebody offers £2m afterwards, then sell. By contrast to a solid, unspectacular, Championship defender, Ronnie Edwards cost Soton £3m.

The same Ronnie Edwards who's been bullied in 50% of the games he's played for us so far

Dunne is worth more to the team and our club that his performances on the park.

Dunne is the type of player or employee who sets the standards and culture for others to see and hopefully follow.

Just one example is getting on the last flight before that storm immediately after his Dad's untimely passing.

Said playing would help take his mind of his loss and went out and played like the leader he is.

For me, altho neither him or Field are Club Captain they are leaders and seems new players gravitate towards them, which is important when building team spirit.

Ireland played O'Mahoney in the Rugby at the weekend not because of his individual ability, they played him, as like Dunne, he sets the standards for others to follow.

I wonder if his dad passing away has triggered this?
