Perhaps for the first time ever, I'd get Chair off at HT. Not his game, he'll be back and excellent next game I'm sure. But perhaps this one if for Saito stretching their defenders a bit.
Hull seem like a very annoying side to play. Lots of small quick players who buzz around like mosquitos biting your ankles. Varane just doesn't seem quick enough to deal with it. Luckily they have a poor attack, we just need to break this thing down once or twice a get in on goal.

This is the problem with varane and field as your 6 and 8. Both of them are so negative, get the ball and play backwards every pass. Need someone to get us up the pitch. I’d put Morgan in there with one of them as his passing can get us up the pitch. Kolli off for Frey, only 8 touches all half. If we can get up the pitch more we can win this comfortably.

Anyone know who the commentators are on Sky? It never seems to say anymore.
Sky? Who knows? They seem to just round up meths-drinkers from the bus station, promise them a hot meal and tell them to go for it until the screaming in their head stops.
'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

Well that was very much a lovely first half.... looks like both teams are proper gents, not wanting to upset each other by doing something so crass as score a goal... more like old Etonians vs Wanderers...
Pretty turgid stuff played with as much tempo as a lament. Defence looks pretty firm, but with all Hull's huff and puff... only one save needed from Nardi, and if that had gone in questions should be asked
Chair is a real worry, not sure what this "back injury" was, but he is taking on the Willock mantle, of not being the same player since that injury
Edwards possibly our best player, he looks class. Poor Kolli looks leggy and even Smyth looks it
Obviously as the away team Marti will be the happier. Should bring Frey on, and Lloyd also, as he would liven us up
Hopefully a better 45 to follow

Poor first half from us. We seem to lacking energy tonight thus far. Chair looking uninterested.
Kolli has hardly touched the ball: benefit of hindsight but Frey starting with Kolli to come on as players get tired seems a better option than the other way around.
Edwards looks quality.
A win looks very much up for grabs if we raise our game as we are off the pace at the moment although Hull look a much better team than Plymouth.

Strangely laborious game, with them on top at the start, roasting us down our right again, and us having a little spell halfway through of pretty passing and a header off a post. Varane, Field, and Morgan are al playing about 10 yards in front our box, weirdly, preumably under perplexing and tiresome instruction, while the clearly less than electric Chair has been stuck out so wide on the left he's virtually off the pitch at times. Meanwhile, Kolli's hirsute flower looks a little limp. All in all it's a bit of a much of a muchness.
Pick of a mediocre bunch probably Edwards - is he now keeping JCS out of the defence, or has the latter reverted to fragile type?
We're not going long much because Kolli's not going to win a great deal in the air. The passing out from the back is too slow and predictable. Bringing Frey on would mean we could mix things up a bit more and play off him. I expect we'll see him and Saito around the 60 mark.

Good shout - he's playing like he's about 50! We should be turning Japanese (I really think so)!
Blink and you will miss the first half highlights.
Marti will make plenty of substitutions as usual. After the first 15 minutes of the second half it would be fun to bring on Frey and Lloyd for Kolli and Chair and let them bash the defenders around.
Come on Urrrssss!
