Does williams keep his job after this? on 19:13 - Jan 18 by TheAlpineShrew
If he goes, who do you want to replace him?
Most of us wouldn’t have a clue, that’s got to be for the club to source. But I’d hope that they employ a tactician who possesses more ways to skin the proverbial cat than the present and last incumbents.

We can't have another "modern" coach. Someone who has been trained in the role rather than learned it through experience.
Tired of the endless statistical wonkery.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Now THAT is the sensible answer not the pitiful “ who would you” Clearly,Williams has fans who see criticism as heresy . It’s not. It’s because you care Doing nothing is the worst option And we are doing exactly that Nothing

Even a coach who doesn’t bring on a 36 yr old has been full back when 3-0 down 15 mins from time What is the matter with y all ?

stop asking sensible questions
So, just for clarity, you would keep LW here despite all the posts on here and other Social Media outlets supporting the opposite and giving very plausible reasons for doing so?
If so, why? What do you see that others don’t?
Do you think it’s just the lack of player quality holding us back?

What style of play do you admire most from LW?
That will do for starters.
for clarity...who would you replace Williams with? Why ditch him? It's all about opinions Tge Williams out gas increased since West Brom gate...fuelled by the media.
As said earlier.....who do we replace him with? What guarantee they will be better?
There is a combination of things as to where we are
look at today's bench Fulton,Naughton Christie doesn't that speak volumes especially as we signed Christie knky recently. Joe Allen starting Eom,Ronald if they were that promising surely the likes of Leeds or several PL clubs would have gambled on them Yes Williams makes errors too..yet got some good results at the start of the season whilst being labelled boring when ge has tried to be more attacking we get battered.

tell me who at the club is capable of making the right choice. Since Birch we have no savvy. Coleman whilst enthusiastic and it seems fervent about the club lacks the knowledge to source a suitable candidate...his backers the same....tine to turn to Curt for advice perhaps?

He’s not well atm, so they need some modern day thinking.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

We don't seem to have any patience.....
I was a supporter of Williams and kind of still am, but i wasn’t impressed by his interview post match. The match…well. I’m starting to move towards moving him on. I like the guy, but I don’t think he’s got it. Gutted we couldn’t get Chris Williams. Who we get next may be scarier than keeping Williams 🤦♂️

We can't keep putting it off. Win at Norwich somehow and he gets another couple of games. He needs to go now because it's going to happen sooner or later better for it to be now.
that is a half good team they will smash 5 or 6 past us now 😡 After being taken apart by teams in the bottom 5 now Pompy then Cardiff We need this idiot out! Think of this being your last SWD that sadly will be for some of our older supporters. That was depressing the same thing being fed the cook saying it’s important. From the moment I woke up today I had a bad feeling about today. I felt in the first half we were conserving energy. At half time I thought right get Joe Allen off get vip on .
Let’s go.
But god alive Luke is stubborn he hasn’t improved a single player there are mangers who could do a million times better.
Since the home fixture we have regressed so much. We need this fool out of our club.
He has lost the dressing room, the fans. Knowing we are his stepping stone is enough for me. We need an older head with coaching and tactical ability.
Luke do the right thing mate tender your resignation!
I hope the board have a manger all ready lined up. We are looking at relegation otherwise. Since the Leeds game we have just been blown apart by everyone.
We need a fresh start the Swansea way wasn’t what we are doing. We need to find the next Swansea way.
Yesterday was horrific we need a new set of eyes and the owners should now see they need to dig deep after years of ripping the copper out we are stuck with a bang average team. No Joel or Andre to score 20 goals.
Cullen isn’t a number 9
Please Andy get rid of that fraud !
Also he threw the lads under the bus post game it was his team and tactics. Joe Allen should have come on at half time and not started.
That was by far the worst match I have witnessed under Luke. I would rather have russ back than this idiot.

You’ve resorted to answering a question with a question so I assume you can’t answer them.
I make no bones about the fact that I have no idea who to replace him with. That is for the club to do and hopefully they are on a constant manager watch whether things are going well or not.
Since the West Brom debacle our results and performances have plummeted. Do you honestly believe that’s a coincidence or that in yesterday’s case the crowd got the better of them? I don’t, so I believe the common denominator with all our problems is LW.
Yes, of course there is no guarantee we’d pick a better manager. That applies to all clubs on the verge of sacking one. But sticking with him I can only see as disastrous. There’s far too much evidence to suggest otherwise.
The squad though bare and lacking quality in some areas is a concern but they’ve proved that with the right approach and motivation they can get results. And now with hopefully Ginnelly and Parker on the verge of starting games and Cooper hopefully not too far away, maybe with the right coach we can get through the season and regroup in the summer.

Even if Curt was well, what would he know on the subject of football managers around the world in 2025? We need to be able to look beyond people who have been at the club. Reach out to find the best person available wherever they are in the world. Not just someone who was either here before or linked to the FAW.

Maybe Sheehan again as caretaker til Andy et. al. finds the right one? Williams has lost the locker room, most fans, and the trust of Coleman & company. IMO, Williams needs to be relieved now, not later. For the sake of the club and players especially.
