I'm very pally with a number of 'artists', which leaves me in a bit of a dilemma when they ask me what I think of their work as I'm more of yer Dutch Masters type of bloke and they all seem to like throwing stuff at a canvas.
Now, one of my mates has had a tough time recently, but he's such a decent chap I'm thinking of buying this 'masterpiece', though I'm sorta lost for words that won't piss him off.

That link comes up as an Error message for me.
My ex was an artist - David Rust - and I met him in a pub after a few drinks when we got talking and he said he was a painter. When the conversation revealed he was an artist rather than a decorator type painter I said I wasn't a big fan of landscape paintings (and I was thinking of those old rather dated ones) and what did he do - of course it was landscapes so I'd insulted him before I'd even started  . |  | | |

One of my best mate’s sons is called Fred Boyle. He’s a Windsor boy and is extremely, extremely talented if you’d care to check his stuff out. Unfortunately, linking stuff to show you is not in my powers as I’m not on the usual social media shoite; but the lad is ultra talented and does sell a few of his scribbles. |  |
