Cadiz v Getafe tonight 😂 on 22:16 - Mar 10 by majorraglan
What would Getafe’s away following be like, do the Spanish travel to watch their team away in numbers?
They had about fifty there tonight. The game ended in a melee of craziness. Last kick off he game penalty, referee needed security. People on the pitch even when it wasn’t all over. Typical weekend in Cadiz.
On away support it depends on the team. Betis travel well as Man United experienced last night. So do Sevilla, Atletico and the big two. Betis have strong links with cadiz, never segregated. Same for Rayo Vallecano. There is a respect thing in Spain, well, at certain clubs, regardless of the result the away side applaud the home fans at the end of the game as do the visiting fans. I’ve seen that reciprocated at away games. I think that’s more for the ‘working class’ type clubs, politics are huge, mostly left wing and violence away from the grounds can be excessive. Cadiz’s ground is right on the beach so plenty of opportunity for a swim 😉😂
It’s very passionate here, and can get very troublesome, atmosphere is brilliant and pre match is as big as the game itself.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

A lot of brits follow them mate, I know a few Jacks who do, they’ve been relegated again so a third division side. Malaga is about two hours or so away from Cádiz on a good day, not many brits here thankfully 😉

Think Malaga are still in the Segunda division Keith, although with 12 games left they look likely to get relegated to Primera RFEF.
