Just wanted to say commiserations to Beechy if the rumours are true that he applied and was overlooked. He's undoubtedly done an excellent job running the youth side of things and I for one hope he carries on this role, or is offered the step up to assistant manager. This would allow for some continuity, and reward him for his service to the club. He's already highly regarded by the fans, and if he stays could become a bit of a legend for the Dale on the sly.

p.s. anyone else remember him scoring in the Sandy? Not sure if it was his only goal for the club - not a bad player when off the treatment table!
