Looking from afar it looked like a v good job especially considering the whole situation at the Club, which you’ve written extensively about in recent match previews v Hull. Rarely clubs run like this get back up to the Championship at first attempt and (look as though they would) stay up..

I think anybody that keeps a nose above water when Allam is your boss is, essentially, doing a good job. But I wouldn't be in a rush to appoint him above midway League One - he was a very cheap option for a malignant tumour.
