What sort of Club do we want - if we can't have the status quo on 15:54 - Aug 13 by DaleFan7
Why do we have to be non-league and fan owned? We've never been non-league before.
if you listen to the podcast you'll hear one of the contributors was expressing how opposed he was to the hostile takeover - even to the extent that he would rather we were non-league but fan-owned; he wasn't suggesting we would or should be non-league but all the contributors had also been positive earlier in the podcast about visiting Harrogate and how, to a Dale fan, their small ground felt much more comfortable and genuine. I guess it's a sort of belonging, an acknowledgment of Dale's lowly but highly proud standing in fans hearts and minds - Jarvis et al would call it small-minded, I'd call it dignity, loyalty - even patriotism.
Yeah, think the point may be being missed here. It’s a simple “you have two choices” in an extreme scenario position. Like you may hate rice or beans, but if they’re your only options of food, which would the choice be?
In this case, there is no choice. Wouldn’t even attend games, let alone enjoy any success. It would be impossible.
