I was in 1963 ðŸ˜
54 now. Discovered the gym three years ago, gave up alcohol two years ago, never felt fitter in my life. Work out five times a week, had a health assessment a few months back which indicated my metabolic age was 39!
Brian, embrace the 50’s it’s a great time of your life. It’s like being young again but with wisdom.

On my fiftieth I was feeling pretty sparky. I'd had a long conversation with a good friend about how we were both looking and feeling pretty good.
Next morning I went to the local market it buy a loaf of bread. The young lady behind the counter, who was all of 20, said, "It's Thursday would you like seniors' discount?" All my illusions and expectations lay in fragments at my feet.
