What is it with assorted rabid lefties and a seemingly unceasing flow of Labour Party members and sympathisers?

I do know that. The point is he should have been the candidate...and would have got elected. The party blew it....again.

He might have done better than his brother but it’s unlikely he would have won. What would David Milliband have offered to deny the snp surge in Scotland for example which lost labour 25+ seats? What would he have offered to have held on to the many regular labour voters who contributed to the 4million+ votes UKIP received?

He might have been a far smoother operator but he would have likely faced electoral oblivion just because of the situation at the time. Labour are dead in Scotland. They’ve lost the faith of lots of people in their traditional areas. How are they going to get that back? A complete culture change.

One man, one leader can’t do it. Hell it probably isn’t even about policy anymore. They’ve spent the last God knows how long attacking their own supporters in their own heartlands. They’re filled with individuals who seem to absolutely hate Britain and it’s history. They’re so focused on championing minorities (not a bad thing but they go waaayyy over the top) they’ve completely forsaken the needs of those families who have supported them for generations.

It’s not about left or right, it’s not about socialism or capitalism or the NHS or personality or leadership. It’s completely obvious to anyone with a brain that the disconnect between the Labour Party and everyone who should be voting for them has never been bigger.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

The nurse isn't a councillor, shes vice chair of a local party, which is a nothing title. The Councillor lost her job but remained as a councillor. I read the article like they were trying to get the nurse sacked:

Another Labour Party activist who appears to remain in post, however, is Kate Sheehan — a Rochford and Southend CLP vice chair and nurse

Why would they care about her being in post as a vice chair of a local party, which is a nothing title?

What she's said is not pleasant and I'm not arguing that she was correct or decent in what she said. Should she be a member of the Labour party? With views like that, probably not, but a bit of perspective in a pandemic. She's a nurse and it does noone any good to sack her for some tweets that dont impede on how she does her job.

She used her position to validate her attack on the government, she lied. When anyone in government does that they get a right rollocking on here and rightly so.

When Bojo or Hancock lie they are called vile scum and face calls to be sacked.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Agree with most of that.....but to win an election you have to win over "middle England". You have to get the right wing press (who feed "middle England") on your side. That is not that complicated in my humble opinion. A centre left candidate that they like...

The press are becoming increasingly irrelevant. They tend to follow rather than lead anyway. The Sun switched to labour when it became clear Blair was going to win. They switched back when it became clear Brown would lose.

Don't get cocky Mr Potty Mouth,I didn't fess up to anything, you read the story incorrectly and started ranting on a different issue rather than the labour councillor headline.

My opinion is that anyone within the health service is entitled to an opinion but anyone quoting what turns out to be incorrect facts who has serious links to a political party should be having their motives questioned and take any consequences that come their way.

And not be defended by rabid lefties desperate to portray the insidious institution that is the Labour Party in a positive light when it and many of its members have serious issues that thankfully are rejected by the majority of the population.

You said you thought she should lose her job for her tweets. Then you edited your post to make it look like you didn’t. Now you’re being mealy mouthed over the issue.

I can can you a coward and a melt instead of a c**t if you prefer?

The longer Labour supporters hang onto the belief that it's only Rupert Murdoch and the Barclay Brothers standing between them and power the longer they'll remain out of it.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Call me what you like its just a pity that your debating skills are so abysmal that you are unable to communicate without using such foul language young children read this site you know, as you well know such behaviour is normally considered to be typical of those with a limited intellect

I must apologise if I have given you the mistaken impression that I'm a timid little wallflower cowed into submission by a foul mouthed ranting Labour Party apologist, because I'm far from it.

The original response prompted in response to your rant after your appallingly poor comprehension of a quite clear online article is in the quote box if you wish to refresh your memory.

I will repeat for the last time just to clear up any confusion in your fevered mind that if any NHS worker ( or I suppose any other worker) conveys false information on a national level and is also known to be a party ( of any party) political worker or position holder then their motivation for any such comments should be questioned and any disciplinary action felt appropriate up to and including being relieved of duties on a permanent basis considered in accordance with employment law.

Now stop blaming others because you simply aren't capable of reading a simple article correctly and are now scrambling about trying to deflect from your own shortcomings.

And stop with the hysterical rantings, its not doing you any favours.

Most of the cranks are clearing off now that Sir Keir wont entertain their nonsense. I expect they'll drift and split as they've always done. I know of at least 3 particularly vocal local "activists" who drove me away from local activism that have already packed it in.

There's always been a crank hard left element but it grew and fed off the legitimacy of the leadership for the last 4 years. Now their place in the centre of the Labour Universe has been supplanted, they've completely lost their sh*t. Looks like the strategy of being horrific towards everyone who wasn't ideologically in step with them has backfired, and I for one am chuffed.

To be replaced by even more cranks who are desperate for their emails and whatsapp messages regarding sabotaging an election not to be public knowledge.

Labour is finished as a party.

History tells us otherwise. What post-war history has consistently proved is that people won’t vote for the kind of divisive, hate-fuelled and destructive leftism espoused by you and Corbyn.

He was very very close Andrew due to his policies which are far removed from that of Blair.

Now, this dossier has emerged, I am intrigued by its contents. If Starmer wants to win everyone over he needs to act now on this otherwise the party will not unite and they will be back to square one.
