Swans up for sale? on 17:40 - Oct 13 by Darran | I don’t know why you bother Mate,if people don’t know this by now there’s something seriously wrong. Or they’re on a wind up of course. |
I genuinely don’t think he is Dar. If it’s a wind up, fair play he got me hook line and sinker.

There’s a difference between owning it and running it. I can’t envisage any circumstances in which the Trust itself would take over the day to day running of the club.

It is a tad strange that people are asking questions like this after all this time and the amount of times they’ve already been answered in the past.

Jesus wept. Stepping in to stop the club going out of business is not the same thing as slapping in a multi million pound bid for a club a point off the top of the Championship. Stuart McDonald won’t be replacing Trevor Birch if and when this sale goes through. But Darran’s right. If you want to believe that, it’s your prerogative.

Yeah maybe. I’m out either way. I’ll leave it to the trust representatives to confirm or deny the £38m bid.

Swans up for sale? on 17:56 - Oct 13 with 2061 views | Nookiejack | Under the New Articles the Yanks can sell to a new owner without having to involve the Trust. If the Trust doesn’t do anything about legally challenging the validity of the new articles they would effectively be codified on a new sale and the Trust’s shares become worthless.

Swans up for sale? on 17:39 - Oct 13 by jack247 | Certainly. If the shit ever hits the fan to the extent that we’re in league one or two, worth nothing, owned by a tony petty type and unable to pay wages or fulfil fixtures, they would step in, or at least they would be able to if they took legal action and were able to sell some (or all) of their shares at the same price the Americans paid the JTAK crew. I’m pretty sure Bury would still be playing if they had a fans group with £5m in their pocket. |

It doesn’t really as the trust don’t have a huge amount of say in how the club is run. I know this is extremely basic, but if the club ends up like Bury, they own 21% of worthlessness. If however they took legal action, won and sold a portion of their shares at the price the Americans paid for them, there would be money in the bank if the shit hits the fan further on down the line.
Swans up for sale? on 18:21 - Oct 13 with 1942 views | BillyChong | The Yanks should get Mal Pope to make a docu film on their successes since the takeover, that will speed things up.
Swans up for sale? on 18:27 - Oct 13 with 1911 views | jojaca | Who would be dumb enough to pay £38 million for a championship club that does not own their ground, with crowds dropping to 16k.

Swans up for sale? on 20:17 - Oct 13 with 1617 views | QJumpingJack | Maybe Birch will confirm the situation in his next update to fans. If the Americans are looking to sell could this reduce the investment in the January transfer window if are in the Top 6?

I think the words ‘investment’ and ‘transfer window’ won’t be up there and used in the same sentence by our current owners for the foreseeable future methinks .....🤔🤔
