Calling people cretins and doughnuts isn't c!ever and only leads to conflict. As for football, you obviously don't see shysters and criminals when they are fingerig your Mrs under the table whilst smiling in your face.
What also leads to conflict is people posting stuff they know to be untrue, posting stuff to wind others up, or posting without thinking first....

We bought Celina and Asoro for millions. I don't have the figures to hand but you get the picture.
Birch seems more shrewd and careful than Jenkins, and Cooper seems more involved than some previous managers
I think Asoro was a £1m and Celina was £3m. The Celina signing was very shrewd, after this season I can see a number o prem clubs sniffing around him for £10m+

Before we write this guy off, how many were really happy on transfer day last season with just Oli leading the line. I certainly wasn't. He took his time to start really firing, but when he did in the second half of the season he proved many wrong, myself included.
Also, who could have predicted the impact of Dan James? Had plenty of doubters in the first half of the season. I remember someone on here saying it was laughable to suggest he was better than Montero. Admittedly it was some idiot like Dwight who said that.
The moral of the story, don't write anyone off at this level

Never seen him play, but based on what I've read it seems like a very sensible purchase.
Why anyone is surprised that we're spending money is beyond me. We've always spent money, and will continue to do so when it becomes available. Which in this case, it will with Mcburnie leaving.
More good work from Birch and Cooper.
Yeah, on paper that looks like a potentially good signing. A good pedigree, decent experience at a reasonable high level, appears to have an eye for goal, still young with room to develop, not obscenely expensive.

Because people prefer to think that it's all being pocketed.
If McBurnie goes the track record suggests that we will spend money. Question is will we spend it better than before.
Certainly we will spend less than we receive. Less certain is we will spend what little we have wisely. If Borja and the other high earners go then it us likely the team we put out will be further weakened from last season's.
You have mission in life to hold out your hand,
To help the other guy out,
Help your fellow man.

Unbelievable isn't it? Learning from our past mistakes, and people still moan. One out, one in and I can see a few more also i.e. Palmer coming in before the weekend.

Oh well...be interesting to see the team Saturday. Just a thought....what happens if AA, Jeff and BB cant be moved on. As one poster said, if they apply themselves we could rip this division apart.

That's how I see it too, more of an attacking versatile wideman for me - if/when Oli goes I would be very disappointed if we didn't bring in a further striker/forward option.
This. Hopefully Cooper will be able to use his connections and deliver a hidden gem.

BB might apply himself. Jeff will still have injury problems. AA attitude problem

How much did we spend the year we got relegated? It was just spent on crap that’s the problem. I’m more than happy for us to spend what we can afford and remain competitive. £800k was our record transfer before we got promoted wasn’t it?
£4m on Celina was good business, and far from crap.

Easy to look good in a video, but lots to like based on that.
Strong, two footed, good in the air and a decent shot on him.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
