We've all complained about the lack of penalties awarded to the Swans in recent years......
BUT....on Saturday when Jordan Ayew put away his penalty against West Ham, the Swans became Penalty Kings in the Premier League.
It was the 20th penalty the Swans had scored in the Premier League from 21 attempts...giving them a conversion rate of 95%......the best conversion rate in Premier League history.
Scott Sinclair was the only one to miss when Joe Hart saved his pen against Man City in 2012
Vorm never saved penalties either if I recall. So many penalties against us go down the middle because Fab is already on his arse. Just stay on your feet for once Fab.

That was after Scotland had scored from the spot in normal time.
Can a professional goalkeeper be 'good at saving penalties'?
It's a lottery. Your local Sunday league keeper could save a penalty from Messi if he just guesses correctly.
If Fabianski had guessed the opposite way when facing penalties for the Swans... he’d have saved them all. If we had a decent goalkeeper coach, then he’d make him stop committing himself so early.

Yes, of course a professional goalkeeper can get better at saving penalties.
By no means will a goalkeeper save every penalty but you can improve your chances by doing research on opposition and trying to read them as they take.
There's always going to be the well taken penalties that no keeper saves, but you can improve your chances of saving some.

Or by not diving out of the way while the penalty taker is half way through their run-up.
