Liberty Stadium pitch 20:36 - Feb 10 with 9327 viewsJackfath

I know we do get a great deal of rain, but today was the first time I've seen it looking a bit ragged in patches. Dyche called it "a bit tricky". Still if it stays like it was today for the rest of the season and we keep on winning, who cares?

It didn't hold water like it did at the Arsenal game, but yes its looking its age considering it used to be one of the best surfaces to play on, the Groundsman we had who looked after it then has left so that could be one reason,
That said pitches do have a shelf life and maybe the date on ours is nearly up.

Haven’t the egg chasers been playing their Anglo Welsh crap their, which is unusual and we’ve actually had a cup run for once, so not really a surprise it’s struggling, not even taking into account the weathers been miserable ☹️

Didnt they sack the head Groundsman a few years back?

Hasnt looked anywhere near as good since he left.

He was sacked, was on the sick with a bad back and decided to go to Thailand on holiday apparently
