Many moons ago my girlfriend went to school with a girl called Fanny Hymen. And next to my school was a dentist by the name of Dr Phang. Nominative determinism in full force there. More recently, in one of my forays into the music business, there was a chap call Rick Shaw, which always made me laugh. But my favourite is in fact a fairly common surname in India: Mistry. When I worked briefly in IT we had a client called Mr Mistry, which I thought would be a perfect name for a magician.... |  |

I worked with a girl with the surname "Zero" which I always thought was an awesome name.
