Never, ever have a goalkeeper as captain. He's too far away to talk to the referee if something happens in the middle of the pitch (as Sam Warburton did for the Lions last week against the All Blacks).
Mawson is too inexperienced.

No for me I'd keep Leon as club captain and give matchday captaincy to Mawson. He seems a natural.....
