They may have mentioned it, and Jenkins knew it would please them, and that's what got the plank in the door, but I think he fell for all Bob's bollocks I really do. I reckon he genuinely chose a manager on his ability to bullshit at an interview. He's firmly on the hook for that one for me.
It is possible of course that Bradley was always inked in as the next manager by the Yanks but it makes agreeing the Guidolin appointment extraordinarily inept and weird.
