Taylor 16:13 - Jan 31 with 2664 views | Hoopsarrr | Why didn't we go in for him? We bought Smith but could have done with bringing in an inform striker too.
Taylor on 16:19 - Jan 31 with 2625 views | aston_hoop | Lets ask Ian Holloway... "There are a lot of players who step up a level and can score. But it's about the balance I need — the pace and power to move the ball from back to front sometimes if Idrissa Sylla's injured. "Have I got anyone who can do that? I'm not so sure I have, and Matty Taylor isn't really that sort of player."

He wanted to last summer!
Taylor on 16:42 - Jan 31 with 2483 views | Toast_R | This is Bristol's version of the Sol Campbell transfer. He's gonna get be getting a world of sh*t off the Gasheads over this one. I actually think Holloway has set his stall out for a target man and Conor Washington combo to attack with. Perhaps he see's Smith as a better option for the role and that taking a another League 1 player as a goalscorer may be a bit of a risk. [Post edited 31 Jan 2017 16:48]

I make you right, I think ghats exactly the thinking behind it. I'm sure we made a lot more money for Washington and it looks line ghey are banking on getting him firing. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Taylor on 18:05 - Jan 31 with 2299 views | MedwayR | I can't believe they've only paid £300k for him, didn't Rovers turn down £1m+ from someone like Cardiff or Leeds during the summer??? For £300k we should've been in for him, Washington/Taylor playing off of Smith/Sylla would be good options.

Taylor on 19:19 - Jan 31 with 2201 views | daveB | where is the 300k fee coming from? I'd have thought it was a lot more than that

Me too. No way would they sell their leading scorer to their deadly rivals for that much even if his contract was running down (which is a possibility as he'll have been there three years in the summer).
