An appalling match which had me staring in disbelief at how Accy have amassed more points than we did in both our recent promotion seasons.
The standard was pub league and I don't think I saw more than 3 passes strung together all match. It was a contest of who could kick it higher and further. It was like Barrowball Reserves v Colemanball reserves on a bad day.
Saw quite a few Daleys up there though in what had been announced as a sell out, even though the gate was 4400ish.
Oh, and they still only had two turnstiles available for the open end which meant a half hour wait to get in for an all ticket crowd! The burgers are still the best in the Football League though!
Agree with R17 poor game with two poor teams. Accrington never came to the party and I`m not sure the fans did either no atmosphere apart from the usual lads in the home end. For what was a full house and the ultimate prize promotion, the place should have been bouncing. If they play like that in the play offs they haven`t a hope. If they should scrape through and play like that in Lge 1 put your house on them going back down !
