I watched the last episode of line of duty and thought that was good. Undercover has finally grabbed by attention. I quite like some of the investigative programmes Stacey Dooley does. However I can't wait for the next series of people just do nothing.

I'd rather stab my eyeballs out than watch 99% of the reality bollox that passes as TV these days.

Ok. I'm curious. Assuming there are 100 reality programmes, what is the one that you like?!

I watched a couple of seasons of australian Masterchef. The masterclasses were very good, the general standard of cooking was ok and the guest chefs decent. I gave up when they started elucidating on the contestants' 'journey' and getting them to say how they were doing this for their dead mum/dad/grandmother. How can you watch a food program that makes you want to vomit?

There was also the delightful episode of Simpsons where Itchy gently sous-vides Scratchy's intestines in a plastic bag, and makes a sorbet by blending up Scratchy's eyeballs, freezing it with liquid nitrogen and for the final touch burns two pupils onto the 'eyeballs' with a little gas torch. These were all the utensils of the moment on Masterchef.

Mentioned this on the Clint Hill thread but I like Shetland. It gets better as you get into the episodes and develops into a superior murder mystery programme. Good plots, good character development, decent acting for the most part, nice mood and stunning scenery. Ro math!

Pommy hoop in 1979 this was the first hip hop tune to be recorded. It also went massive. The hip hop community were very critical of it at the time. L block welcome back mate you should give this a look you're a bit of a muso. Kool Erc , Kurtis blow , grand master flash and the furious five, Africa bambata its well worth watching.

Funnily enough......after a day at Ascot on the fizzy pop yesterday we were sat around a friends kitchen last night teaching his kids the lyrics to Rappers Delight!!!
I then challenged all to keep up with Young MC "Know How" which was amusing

I will check this program out. Sounds up my strata, especially if Stacey Dooley is; like, literally; nowhere to be seen in it, innit

Or was it? I thought this one shaded it by a few months (but clearly didn't do as well as 'delight').

Out west R I shall defer to you on this. The programme laid claim that it was. I can assure you it's not my specialist subject.

Ok L block I'll bite there's nothing wrong with Stacey. In fact I have seen a few good programmes that she has delivered. Admittedly she isn't obvious eye candy but she's sharp. Anyway I am wonder mike and I'd like to say hello.

It's like Netflix told the producers, you can't have another three series, get the story told in one.

Beat me to it Brian. Not as consistently laugh out loud hilarious as season one, but it's just wonderful to spend time with. I absolutely adore Aziz Ansari - have seen him live a couple of times and almost died laughing.

At the other end of the comedy spectrum season 12 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is on netflix now - the waterpark and old lady house episodes instantly making into the list of the show's greatest hits

The latest series of the Americans is good but slow. The last 2 episodes have picked up though. Great characters.

I've been watching Crime Story People vs ..OJ and am enjoying that as I missed it first time round. John Travolta's portrayal of Shapiro is interesting.

You're right about Master of None, robith, in that Series 2 veered more towards comedy drama. I thought it was still hilarious but the drama was upped. Nearly every episode was a short film with its own tone and its own gorgeous story arc.

No spoliers from me so I can't say which episodes but two in particular were among the best individual episodes I've seen in a long, long time.
