The only match off so far is at Accrington where "The covers have been on all night but the pitch has been judged dangerous after an inspection by ref Trevor Kettle " This is tough on the Portsmouth fans who would have set off hours earlier
todays game on 10:37 - Jan 16 with 4003 views | aleanddale | Well it's bleeding freezin so if it is on get about 6 layers on!! Seriously I would estimate at 70/30. Regrettably 70% chance off

todays game on 10:44 - Jan 16 with 3914 views | Buryyyy | If the game is off why not get down to Gigg for something to do? £18 for an adult and child is pretty good value, just a suggestion to give you an excuse to get out of shopping with the Mrs!

todays game on 10:53 - Jan 16 with 3783 views | Yorkshire_Dale | The twitter pic suggests that the covers have "caught" the frost afore it's penetrated the grass surface.......surely it will be fine underneath ? Otherwise £5.5K is a waste of money......just used old Tesco bags?

If the issue is the cold weather then why haven't the covers worked if they've been used every night this week when temperatures have dropped below freezing? What temperatures do they protect against? I'm not quoting that entire article here http://www.rochdaleafc.co.uk/news/article/pitch-covers-statement-759301.aspx (though I will if I have to!), but there's enough in there to suggest they work against frost. If it's only a light frost, we need to know. [Post edited 16 Jan 2016 11:04]

Depends just how severe the frost was and the state of the pitch after last Sunday's rugby. Assuming the covers wereput on in time then there is nothing else we could have done Referees won't take any chances these days on health and safety. If the boots can't take a proper stud there's no chance

if Bury played on my front lawn Id pull the curtains. Rather walk round town centre with a nail in my show than watch B&&y
todays game on 17:33 - Jan 16 with 3113 views | D_Dale | What's Peter V. have to say? Presumably not that it makes Dale look a bit tinpot by not getting the pitch fit to play - along with Accy Stanley. Even Stockport County played (just checked as it's one of the prediction table matches - 1-1 incidentally). [Post edited 16 Jan 2016 17:35]

I'm guessing she's flown in to spend some time with her brother.
