Glastonbury 2014 on 14:35 - Jun 24 with 780 views | glynthomas | If you are going for the music, print off the listings off the website,Clashfinder, gives you a time table on all the groups playing every day, once you get your bearings you can work out where the stages are because you be walking miles every day in getting to them. Take wellies even if its been sunny here for the last two weeks,if it rains only for a few hours it be like a bog, rememeber over 150,000 people will be there. Buy a cheap £9 phone in tescos, the battery will last you far longer than all the smart phones, there will be recharging places but you will have to que hours to do so. Take wet wipes, load of socks, creams, for blisters and the sun. New thing this year, they want people not to drink from plastic bottles so you be able to buy a reuseable water bottle, and then get the water from taps dotted around the festival. Visit Shangri la,but you'll have to que again even if its 1am in the morning, but it be an eye opener ,last year saw chase and status underneath a giant metal spider spouting flames at 3 in the morning,,i say about 20,000+ people wear there. Glasto,Its another world once you get there but it be hard work its not a holiday but its a great experience. One rumour, Prince is suppose to turn up somewhere, and put a Swans flag up if you are going to see the Manics. Enjoy....and book tuesday off as well!!! [Post edited 24 Jun 2014 14:36]
