CityTV have released an exclusive interview with Khaldoon Al Mubarak.

The interview highlighted the fact that Khaldoon is a very intelligent man who is very knowledgeable about football. Not only does he know how to run the club as a business, but also he is very knowledgeable about the tactical side of the game.

What struck me, personally, was the fact that Mansour had followed the City results closely, which was pleasant to hear for me, due to the fact that I had Mansour down as thinking of City as a little side project. I was pleasantly proven wrong, as he rang Khaldoon straight after the Sunderland draw at home, telling him to keep the faith and to raise the spirits in the dressing room. He also seemed key to highlight the harmony in the squad and at the club, which was relieving to say the least. He noted that Pellegrini had brought the players together and praised his "holistic" approach.

Obviously he was very keen to praise City (from the players to the staff) for their goalscoring prowess, and their attacking, attractive football that has kept the Blues cheering all season.

But what really made me sit up and listen was when Nicola McCarthy, the interviewer, mentioned the fact that when new players are brought in, old ones must part ways with the club...

So first, Khaldoon spoke about Joleon, and mentioned how valiant and intelligent he was, and how he's had some of the best performances of his career here at City.

Then, he mentioned Gareth Barry, and how despite he was at Everton, was delighted to see the man do well.

Finally, he mentioned Chappy, the loyal kitman whom we all adore. His antics have kept us laughing for the two decades, and he has served the club through thick and thin.

So there I was, perched on the sofa, thinking...well...what about our lad Micah?

Where's his mention?

Is this purposeful?

Is he leaving?

Where's Edin Dzeko in this list?

Trying to get the song "He's shit but he scores" out of my head, I thought to myself "...maybe he's staying...?"

I can only hope, as Micah is one of my favourite of the City lads.

Ciao Blues,

Uwe's Grandad.
