Never Forget QPR

So here we are. One game left of the season and sitting proudly at the top of the Premiership. It's been a long road but we are are where we are after what has been an exciting season so far with some incredible performance from City at times. Last night was always gonna be tough against a team with the pressure off. A team that had boasted all week how they were going to come to the Etihad and attack City. How they were going to do Liverpool a favour. This was the message from Lambert the Villa Manager and various players. The reality was they "parked the bus" (which seems to be the in way to describe a team who play ultra defensive). Villa wasted time not at all unlike Chelsea's performance at Anfield the other week.

City seemed to struggle at first and seemed to eager to get the breakthrough but as the second half started the blues seemed to be refreshed and played with a calmness that was always going to finally get the one goal we needed. But we didn't just get the one did we? Zabaleta played like a man possesed!! He is really a player that in my eyes is what City are all about. "WERE MAN CITY, WE'LL FIGHT TO THE END" Dzeko proved his worth with his two goals, before Jovetic scored in style and Yaya went on his fantastic run from deep within our half to score a beauty. That beauty also being City's 100th.

So at last i feel i can believe. One game left and two points clear. But and it is a big but....we must never forget QPR.
