Newcastle, Sunderland And Norwich Looking At Dyer? Tuesday, 30th Jun 2015 07:00 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews) Newcastle, Sunderland and Norwich are all reporting to be looking at the possibility of signing Nathan Dyer if it turns out that the winger has no future at Swansea as rumours increase that he could leave this summer. I am not sure what the logic would be at the moment of us considering letting Dyer go unless we were to move into the market for another new winger but it seems that should it happen then there will be plenty of interest in the man who has made more than 250 appearances for the Swans since he first signed from Southampton back in 2009. Many people have suggested that game time for Nathan will be restricted next season but I am not sure what backs that up at the moment - he appeared in 32 of our 38 Premier League games next season which suggests that he is very much in the plans of Garry - or at least he was last season. The signature of Andre Ayew could reduce that game time a little and there is big hopes for Modou Barrow this season but I am still not sure that is enough to persuade Garry to cast off one of our key players just yet. Nathan scored five goals last season, although he has not found the net in the Premier League since August and for me we need options to get goals from all positions and even if he does not make a start then he is a brilliant option to bring on from the bench as we have seen many times in the past. But should we decide to let him go it appears that there would be a place in the Premier League for him with the trio of clubs rumoured to be interested and I am not sure that the interest would stop there. As it stands though I hope that the interest will not be followed through but time will tell Would You Let Nathan Dyer Go This Summer? To embed this in a blog, comment, forum post etc, use [poll_1083] Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
