League One odds for 2011-12 Monday, 20th Jun 2011 19:56 by Col
We have scoured the betting sites from all around the world (or visited one odds comparison website) to find out the current odds that are being banded about for the forthcoming season.
Listed below are the latest odds for each side in League One to win the title, get promoted or be relegated, and based on these odds, the bookies reckon that Dale will finish at or around 16th in the division.
In contrast, last season if you shopped around you could get 80-1 on Dale to win the title, so the bookies have certainly took notice of ourselves following last season's top ten finish.
Of course, these odds may well change over the Summer months as clubs do their wheeling and dealing before the big August kick off, but for now, if you wish to gamble your hard earned on Dale, here are the best odds going:

Why are Notts Country above us? scratch that, why aren't they in the bottom 5? Very displeasing table considering we came 9th last season ¬_¬

I love bookies. 8 teams are less than 3-1 to go down, i.e. break even mark with your stake back. For the top teams, if you're betting on promotion for any team including the playoffs, the odds are worse than you would get if placing your bet on a team (any team when you have seen how they have fared over 46 games) in the playoffs. The odds are what I would expect but there is no value, depending on the handicap betting, if that's the overall expectation then I'd be going for Exeter to be the ones who have been under-valued the most.

Blogs 31 bloggersKnees-up Mother Brown #19 by wessex_exile February, and the U’s enter the most pivotal month of the season. Six games in just four weeks, with four of them against sides also in the bottom six. By March we should be either well clear of danger, or even deeper in the sh*t. With Danny Cowley’s U’s still unbeaten, and looking stronger game on game, I’m sure it’ll be the former, but first we have to do our bit to consign Steve ‘Sour Grapes’ Cotterill’s FGR back to non-league. After our shambolic 5-0 defeat at New Lawn, nothing would give me greater pleasure, even if it meant losing one of my closest awaydays in the process. What’s the excuse going to be today Steve – shocking pitch, faking head injuries, Mexican banditry or some other bit of sour-grapery bullsh*t? Macclesfield Town Polls |
