Saints Off Again

As predicted in the game preview, it wasnt the snow but the frozen pitch.

Saints once again find themselves with a free Saturday as Walsall's pitch is frozen and with sub zero temperatures plus snow predicted they have gone for an early decision.

It has to be said though from a Saints point of view its perhaps for the best, with three of the better players not fully ffit in Barnard, Chaplow & to a lesser extent Richardson, Saints could perhaps do with the rest once again.

The only downside is that when Saints travel to Charlton on Boxing Day for what is most certainly a very important fixture they will have only played once in over a month, whether that proves to be a good thing or a bad thing is yet to be seen, although on the other hands most other teams will be in a similar boat themselves, so it could be of greater benefit to us given our current problems.
