Is it only anti-Semitism that bothers you? If so I suggest that is racist. At least the leader of the party doesn't make racist comments, unlike Boris in a national newspaper. Probably, from figures published recently, leading to a marked increase in verbal and physical attacks on his targets. |

As I have replied above anti-Semitism not handled well at all. Not as widespread as certain newspapers suggest, but any anti-Semitic or other racist comment have no place anywhere. Is the second part of your comment about Boris and Dominic, or a music duo I have not heard of? |

It is a CONSERVATIVE government that has failed to deliver Brexit for the last 3 years. Boris and co. would ensure billions that should be used in the UK economy disappear into off-shore accounts of the super-rich. They will sell out the NHS completely to a wasteful USA insurance system. The Labour party is predominantly funded by its members. Conservative party funded by a very few rich donors.. The unelected 'brains' Dominic Cummings is a disgrace - as the decent Tory MP'S are realising in numbers. As it is, I hope Cummings stays. He is making a right mess of the campaign. Believe in Corbyn. Get hold of the Labour manifesto when it is published. It will not be revolutionary, just fully costed and full of excellent policies to benefit the country as a whole, and areas like ours especially. Boris is in politics for himself and the rich, Corbyn for the people. |

150+ first team games,at a comparatively successful time in our history, and still only age 22. Time will tell how many of our present crop of youngsters match, or better, his record. Too many on here and in the crowd on matchday seem to be waiting for Callum to make mistakes. Some of the criticism verges on abuse. I don't know anything about social media but I expect it is at least as bad on there. Encouragement is what is needed. He is one of ours and always appears proud to wear the shirt. |

Be careful about celebrating if Oldham lose. I think we need Northampton to drop points as well |
| Forum Reply | Stop chanting 'Rochdale's a shithole' etc. at 15:39 15 Jan 2015
Chant not at all funny. An insult to all people who work hard to improve the town - business people, volunteers, parks dept. etc. etc. The town is what you make of it. I think it is brilliant. 50+ years in the Sandy Lane. |

Fair comment. Got carried away by what appeared to be very good news for the town. Now that I look at the map more carefully I see that it is quite good news for most of the borough - it certainly isn't a s**thole. Makes this old codger sad to hear anyone call it one. That's it now. I've no more to say. |

I see now that every area different. 7126 for central Rochdale. Much better for areas away from the centre. Makes it meaningless for the borough as a whole but does show very dramatic differences from area to area in the borough. I still hate the song! |
| Forum Reply | Best places to live in the UK at 14:04 25 Aug 2014
I take it all back. Ranking given online has been changed dramatically from 325 to 7126! Apologies. The 'morons' are correct according to the revised figure. It is still number 1 for me and always will be. |
| Forum Reply | Best places to live in the UK at 13:51 25 Aug 2014
Very interesting. Although I know that it is a great place to live the ranking is surprisingly high. Perhaps this will stop morons in Sandy Lane singing that it is a s**t hole. They probably have only experience of Rochdale. - unless their song is meant to be ironic? I love the Sandy (over 50 years experience of it) but hate the song. Recent opponents rank out of 7,137: Bristol 5993 Peterborough 3771 Preston 7036 And next up: Bradford 7110 |

Sorry for delay in replying. I can't find a full list. Appears I have just been fortunate at away grounds - Notts County, Sheff. Utd, Tranmere, all 60, Huddersfield 60 or 62 can't remember. Brentford so friendly. I just asked for concession and no questions asked, not sure what official age is. Bury. pne, carlisle, mk dons all 65. Sheff Wed appear to be increasing from 60 this season to 65 next 2012/3 but those under 65 but over 60 who bought this season can continue at concession rate next season. |
| Forum Reply | Rochdale AFC - AGM tonight at 11:28 27 Mar 2012
Repeat what I said earlier - most away grounds in lg 1 give concessions at 60 or 62 to males and females. |
| Forum Reply | Rochdale AFC - AGM tonight at 09:31 27 Mar 2012
60 or 62 for age concessions at nearly all lg 1 grounds. After many years as season ticket holder will not be willing to pay full amount unless we stay up. Will pick games next season. Selfish I know (age 62). |
| Forum Reply | Grimes? at 16:58 26 Mar 2012
Grimes should be in the starting 11 with Symes - see 2nd goal at Huddersfield. In one of our few attacks at Brentford Symes put a similar header in but JLAA not up to it. When we were all over Tranmere at start of 2nd half situation was crying out for Grimes to put it away. Win would have been great for confidence. Not blaming JC, he took a brave decision with the 2 subs (Adams and JLAA) and it livened things up but one of them with Grimes staying on would have been better. Comments about preparing for next season in Lg 2 are very worrying. JC was given the job to do everything possible to keep us in Lg 1. Pick best 11 and best bench and make them play. Widdowson, Grimes should be in starting 11, and possibly Adams - who should be used from bench if not a starter. I still believe that the best team available can keep us up. Relegation will be a disaster from football and financial point of view. We know how difficult it is to get out of that division. Anyone know if Darby is fit yet? Holness tried to get forward on Saturday but both fullbacks were 1950's vintage - cumbersome and almost incapable of crossing the half-way line. We need Darby and Widdowson v Walsall. |
| Forum Reply | Right, John Coleman............lets see how tough you really are !! at 16:33 25 Mar 2012
Extremely disappointed with attitude at Brentford. Brentford a poor team with little skill. What does it say about us? I don't know about attitudes of Grimes, Adams and Widdowson (who only got on because of injury) but I do know that they are better footballers than most of those who played yesterday - able to control the ball, pass, and in Grimes case score sometimes. JC needs to get the best from these players. He will get the best out of them by playing them. Of those on the pitch centre backs and keeper were OK, Tutte was good. Jordan terrible. It is a tragedy that JK has lost form in the last 2 crucial games. Until last 2 games he was my player of the season by a long way. |
