He is doing very well indeed and worthy of all the praise he gets.......best right back in the club & deserves the positivity he gets despite several posters wanting him 'out' earlier in the season. As for comparison to Macca, he has a long way to go there. |

He is doing OK, much improved but he could not have got worse than when we signed him. He is still making wrong decisions, shooting very poorly, passing can be erratic and not positive enough when he has time and space. I like many of his skills but lets not go OTT about him, he is miles away from the Premiership and some of the players that have been mentioned. MOM yesterday??, not for me but he did well just like many of the players did & hence why it was a decent performance from the Team and why the 'Crowd was Loud'. |
| Forum Reply | Was Prestons goal totally against the morals of the game at 08:24 22 Dec 2024
No issues with PNE, fair goal although Cook would have stopped the goal but for the injury. He will be a big loss for the Team even with injured players injured players returning. I would imagine MC will miss his involvement during training as well. Big asset and a good pro. |
| Forum Reply | Ashby at 10:57 16 Dec 2024
Yes I know that and it was pretty poor play by him but generally overall he is better than Ashby, he is our player, has a left foot and does pass to the opposition as frequently as Ashby....... |
| Forum Reply | Cifuentes Leaving the Club at 08:37 16 Dec 2024
Most of us, with any footballing sense, know what a very good job he has, thus far, done at the Club but do the general football fan, Chairmen from other Clubs, non supporting QPR person realise just how well he has done here - I am not so sure they do. It doesn't actually read well or 'hit you in the face' - Look where we are in the Championship, near the bottom, at the bottom not so many days ago. If we were pushing for promotion it may be very different. Who knows though, just my opinion. |

Ashby is pretty poor in all what he does.....yes, it may make it tough for him playing on the left but he still needs to do better. Posters go on about his left foot but when he uses his right foot, & he does that 90% of the time, he still passes the ball to the opposition an unbelievable amount of times. Very lucky man, and that's what he is a 23 (??) year old man, to be playing this level of football & being signed by a Premier Club - I dread to think what money he has earned from the game!!!! Conference standard basically. I would be interested in seeing why MC picks him ahead of Fox whilst Paal is unfit. |

Brilliant free kick, didn't matter where the ball was - it was going into the back of our net. Nor did it matter about their men making a wall. I'm more interested & annoyed with Field making a silly tackle in that area. |

Limited, long way from being a starter......no better that Armstrong. Perhaps as he gets older he will get better, big maybe. |
| Forum Reply | Smyth,s Goal? at 15:27 14 Dec 2024
Smyth does not deserve any negativity, the man is a top pro with limitations but I tell you what, I would actually hate to play against him, he has much pace, never stops running, shuts oppo down and works for two players (Dunne must pray that he is selected to play just in front of him), his attitude is proper. Good lad. Very pleased for him to score that goal today. |

Forget Norf's brilliance at running this site & being a 'proper' supporter......he is a negative despite trying hard to turn him. [Post edited 12 Dec 8:55]

The opening post/comments are not necessary.....they are not very good though and look relegation fodder. |
| Forum Reply | 4 Clean sheets in a row at 08:49 12 Dec 2024
No slack here, he is old enough to know that going inside is trouble. ....he has been a professional for how long!!! There are other things whereby he fails but thats for another time but overall I'm not sure he is good enough to play Championship football, let alone Premier. |
| Forum Reply | Sam Field or no Sam Field? at 08:46 12 Dec 2024
Well done Sam Field, how any supporter/poster thinks Field is a 'non starter' is sheer naivety. He is the most solid DCM in the Club and a big asset to the Team & he showed that last night. Took his goals very well indeed. |
| Forum Reply | 4 Clean sheets in a row at 08:41 12 Dec 2024
The back 4 are doing well atm & the GK. The weakness is Ashby. Ashby continually comes inside onto his right foot - that is not good because he is coming into traffic and very dangerous if the ball is intercepted. Ashby is the weak link when Paal isnt available. Personally I would play Fox at left back instead of Ashby. |
| Forum Reply | Last night’s ref at 08:35 12 Dec 2024
The ref was pretty average last night and very inconsistent overall.....not sure where they get these ref from!!! |
| Forum Reply | i'm gonna hold my hands up..... at 08:34 12 Dec 2024
We were having difficulties due to injuries, we have been playing with half a team. Some of the players that were selected were poor or too inexperienced because we had no better. We have a decent squad, short in some areas, but decent enough to be a mid table team, maybe better. We are far too good to be relegated, you saw last night(Oxford) what a relegation team was. |

I have never heard that one before (& much of the time I played at LB)......must be new(ish) to the game. |
