Chair seemed to have more of a free role today. He played right across the front positions. He's still nowhere near his usual level.
Others underperformed too. Cook was very rusty, Fox was full of mistakes, Field was below par and, despite a lovely weighted ball for Lloyd's goal, Morgan made a lot of errors.
Millwall looked like giants compared to our players, and bullied us without much intervention from the ref. The lack of height in the team worries me at times. |

Is it me or has London Pride - the ale that is - gone to sht? I had a bottle of it the other day and I'm drinking a draught pint just now and it seems a pale and insipid copy of what it once was.

The Harvey Vale signing looks to be on, and it's a canny one. He can play LB, LM, and ACM, so he plays in several positions where cover is needed. Paal and Morgan in particular will need resting at times. Vale could well become a first pick. |

We've batted that question around before:
Kelman by Jimboqpr 25 Sep 2024 8:06I just noticed Charlie Kelman has already scored three league goals this season (4 in total) out on loan at Leyton Orient. Is this the year he finally makes some significant development and returns to us as someone who could have an impact? Or is he just a mid-table L1 player at best? Still only 22 (23 in Nov), so he might have a chance. Also, is he in the last year of his deal with us, or are we not allowed to know such things?!

A couple of weeks ago WLS said a number of clubs had enquired about EDB and the QPR were ready to let him leave to get first-team football. So he must be top of the list.
I'd like to see a few more youngsters such as Alfie Tuck, Lorent Talla, Emmerson Sutton and, as already mentioned, Daniel Bennie get decent loans out. |

You're right that many lobby groups, both in this country and overseas, fund UK MPs.
It's a practice that must be stopped as the dangers of corruption and self interest are extremely high. MPs are voted in to serve their constituents and country, not make a fast buck on the side. And what business does another nation have in funding a UK MP?
It's not only Israel that does this but other countries such as Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. It's wrong on every level. |

Transfermarkt.co.uk lists Kakay as without a club and they're usually pretty up to date. It is strange he's not gone anywhere. |

U21s on loan are counted in the squad. Also, I assume a player needs to be under 21 at the start of the season and some of our youngsters like Morgan turned 21 before then. |

The training ground would be a good distance away going east so I don't think it would affect it other than more plane noise. |
