Kenneth Paal was so bad that I think we would have played better with 10 men. This was a horrendous spectacle, both teams should be relegated 2 divisions based on their inability to do anything that resembles the game of football. Not one of the players on that pitch has any ability of merit. I am totally embarrassed for them. I would prefer to be relegated now than endure any of this utter shite any more. Pathetic. If I was a QPR owner I would dock all of their wages for not turning up to work. They are a shower of shine. |

Not a lot to be positive about really. GA is a nice guy but his tactics and results were poor. We only have to look at this time last year when we were 1st to see the style of football we were playing, passing, moving, great excitement. Willock was heralded as the best in the division, now he is the forgotten man, I mean no one expects to see him in the starting line up, what is going on there? Anyway, give me Warnock, he knows the club and he will improve this very underwhelming squad. We will still struggle, but maybe, just maybe we might finish above the bottom 3. Makes you wonder why Tony and Les really left....Did they see the writing on the wall? |
| News Comment | But she just smiled and turned away — Report at 03:25:30
My mate is a Chelsea fan and we often talk about rangers because I can't talk about Chelsea. He remarked before Christmas that Rangers were doing well and I remarked back that yes, we are doing well for the squad we have. To be honest a lot of the games we won we could have easily lost as well. To speak about being promoted even after these last few months of poor results you would say that there aren't that many players that we would keep should we indeed get promoted. Field, Amos, Barbet, Dieng and Willock perhaps... I like Chair but for me he loses the ball far too often - add a few savvy premiership right backs and he will barely touch the ball. Ok, the ref was well and truly having a terrible game, but for Warbs to moan so much about his poor decisions tells the real story 'as Clive rightly pointed out' that he is feeling the pressure. Stef is well and truly past his best and adds little now. Let's remember that we've got a terrible budget and we're building. Let's just hope our scouts unearth plenty more Sam Field's and let's do away with loaning out of sorts premiership boys who do nothing for our building process.. |
| News Comment | The view from the Pu — February at 04:21:41
Just wondering, is it a coincidence that in January when we didn't have Chair or Stefan Johansen that we played a lot better, more direct and had many more shots? I've been really disappointed with SJ in particular this Feb...I feel we have better options...Is he carrying a knock? What am I missing here? Chair has talent but loses the ball too many times for me, putting our defence under unnecessary pressure. Put Willock back in his natural position, play with a striker, Warb's experiment didn't work, time to reset back to Jan.... |
| News Comment | Very QPR indeed - Report at 20:21:36
I believe Warbs messed up the defence and ruined the midfield by playing Sam in defence. One positional change with two dire consequences, not Sam's fault but the midfield was broken... Does anyone know why Dom Ball is having such a bad season? When he arrived at Rangers everyone was singing his praises, but now....? |

Clive, I listen to that podcast which you're on occasionally and when the attendees all say a win for the R's you know it will be a loss. Such is the nature of team and player inconsistency that really hampers Rangers. I was really not a fan of Kane and he made me eat my words recently with some really good work. I won't say really great work because he seems to do the hard things well and the easy things not so well. I look at results from Birmingham and Huddersfield and wonder why we play so badly against teams that are seemingly much worse than us. Even WW we were somewhat lucky to win. I still feel we need a natural leader in the middle of the park. Charlie is a bit slow now and unless we can give him a constant supply then we are really a player down. I must say though I'm really impressed with Sam Field and Willock seems to show some real ability form time to time. Still feel we are short a few players who can push us into the top 6 and grind out the wins against the teams below us. For me the season is summed up by the January signings, we were in deep trouble without them and would without doubt be heading down. I would really like to know if Warb's saw this too because his post match diatribes were somewhat out of kilter to what I saw. |
| News Comment | Birmingham late show stuns below par QPR - Report at 21:26:49
Yes, we need to rest players, especially on pitches that can cause injuries so easily, but take off Austin and we're well and truly back to the drab and toothless Rangers of 2020. No authority, no voice, no leaders, no creativity, and no talent to grind out a result against arguably the worst team in the division. I'm more disappointed with this result then any others this season. Warbs and co got this one so so wrong.... Wake up and small the coffee. P.s. so pleased that or dellusional fans aren't talking about the bl00dy play is now. OMG, what we they smoking?! |
| News Comment | Insipid QPR twice pay PNE penalty - Report at 20:27:52
QPR 0 : Wallace 2 I don't understand why we are loaning out young developing and much quicker defenders when we are enduring two poor defenders week after week. Wallace has been poor from the start of the season and I think has single handedly lost us more points then we've gained so far this season. Barbet switches off entirely for long periods of the game and then passes straight back to the opposition. I feel sorry for Wallace because he and Warbs don't actually realize that he isn't at Championship level anymore. My football coachwould have torn strips off me if I was repeatedly that dumb and arrogant to make these repeated mistakes time and time again like Wallace does. Warbs talks about experience that Wallace brings to the team, his decisions and actions would say otherwise. Warb's obviously has issues with fans making comment about what a shambles his players can be. I think 'keyboard warriors' was something he mentioned a few weeks ago in an interview. Warbs needs to recognize that it isn't just his club, it's ours too, and an abject display isn't going to make us come out singing with joy after that performance. After-all we have to pay to watch this and he gets paid to choose repeated offenders. Wake up Warbs! I think Ramsey would be my preferred manager at the moment. Cheers Warbs, Your loving keyboard warrior. |

Thank you Clive for your reports and humour - god knows we need it at times. Some great highs and some very low lows this season. Defence has been perhaps the weakest link I've seen for decades, I can't actually remember ever having so little confidence in our defence. Hopefully this very short summer we will get a couple in who can bring some stability back, and stop me having to take a Valium every time the opposition attacks. I know Eze will depart, and I wish him well. I hope he gets his chance in a team like Leicester perhaps (?) that will allow him his creative freedoms. Not sure the hammers or Palace will give him that - time will tell. I like Warbs and what he stands for. The only fly in the ointment for me is why our defence didn't improve at all, at any stage of the season. Last but not least is a big shout out to Lumley, he has made some big mistakes and cost us dearly, but that's no surprise with the none existent defence in front of him, but he has had the courage to work his way back to being number 1 again - hopefully he can become the next Smithies ;-) Good luck to all.... |
| News Comment | Warbsball 4 Millwall 3 — Report at 21:26:34
Very strange game. Some moments of pre-covid passing, attacking the box and good movement, but the dreaded non-existent defense showed it's frailties over and over again. Barbet pretty much turned his back on their third goal and ran away. I'm sorry but he isn't good enough for the Championship, he has been left wanting time and time again. We were lucky that the linesman had been bribed before the game to rule their two goals offside, we could have very easily lost that game. The bright side after the huge disappointment of losing BOS is that some of our youngsters are doing well, but the impending sale of BOS and Eze, possibly Manning too needs to be badly reinvested in the club's squad - the defense and forwards, not the bank account - please! |
| News Comment | QPR stop the rot at Luton - Report at 22:25:12
this game in all fairness to both teams was a fair result. Two teams playing mid-table div 1 stuff. I'm not sure what game Warbs Warburton was watching but to be upset at not getting 3 points is embarrassing. I hope we get the reported 20M for Eze and invest it wisely. I feel we have a few too many players who are struggling at this level and Tony L is better then what we have in defence. This season for me is about the development of a few young talents who will be gone this summer, and the poorest defence we've had in two decades. Warbs hasn't endeared himself to me, I would welcome Warnock back with open arms.... |
| News Comment | QPR circling the drain after Sheff Wed debacle - Report at 23:37:55
My verdict of player ratings: Lumley 6 - some great saves Masterson 4 - with Barbet next to him he can't score higher than 4 Cameron -1 (time to retire) Who is the bright spark who thought of giving him another year? I've seen pianos moving faster! Barbet N/A (I thought he was "walking about" for Wednesday! God help us if he's the best we have.....A tough year ahead. Really don't like seeing him playing for the R's. Kakay 6 - Tried hard, but a 1 man defense can't do a lot! Manning 2 - he hasn't been good since returning from lockdown. Looks like he has his eyes on a transfer. Eze 4 - Asleep and simply can't be bothered Ball 3 (Clarke 60, 4) Amos 4 - Had a big lunch. Osayi-Samuel 3 (just lost his confidence - needs to be benched) Shodipo 5 (Chair 60, 5) Warbs - Time for a summer holiday... |
| News Comment | QPR brimming with generosity in Wigan's hour of need - Report at 22:48:39
The Good: Lumley was good again, playing much better, his confidence is increasing and the lack of fans on his back really shows. The Bad, Wigan will feel disappointed that they didn't win by at least 5. Rangers are lucky they had a good spell this season because these last 5 games have been bottom of the table stuff. Cameron was poor, a few players like BOS and Eze looked like they were watching another game. Can't see where the goals are coming from and the defence is under far too much pressure with no midfield turning up.... Chair let his man past him far too easily for the first goal, he looked like a pub footballer, but I disagree with Warbs Warberton that the chance of his was a sitter. He is clutching at straws. My biggest disappointment of this season is we have by far the worst defensive record, yet it hasn't shown much improvement over the entire season.... Wigan 7 out of 10 QPR: 3 out of 10 (I'm feeling generous today) |
| News Comment | Fulham profit from familiar QPR failings - Report at 22:06:28
I feel Kelly should have stopped both goals against Foolham and the goal against Charlton. I reality the goalies this season have struggled. I thought Manning has been really poor, especially in the first two games and was better in this game but still a fair distance from his best. A bit bored of Warb's excuses, we were the in-form team before the suspension of the league, now we are the most out of form team. Management must take responsibility for this somewhere. |

The only thing worse than a terrible ref/linesman is listening to Warbs' aftermatch interview with Nick London. Please please please Nick stop asking and answering the question for Warbs only to repeat the fecking answer. Seriously man, I know you're better than that. Let's ask some tough questions that we actually want to hear answers for, like; 1, Why is our defending set pieces the second worst in the devision? 2, Why haven't we seen any improvement in our defece so far this season? 3, what's your message to the younger and older players during certain games. Give us insight into what you're thinking... 4, What's our focus over the summer, hold or twist? Seriously, too prescriptive and very frustrating. It's time to be a real reporter Mr. London. We love you dearly but time to put some chilly sauce on that kebab... I would love for Clive to do the Warbs post match interview, especially when we witness that level of absolute shite officiating and defensive obscurity.....! |
| News Comment | Dom Ball appreciation society - Knee Jerks at 23:22:13
Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on our defensive misgivings at times. I thought we were lucky to get the win because Derby missed so many good chances that cropped up because our defence was simply caught out too many times. It's a wonder to me why we haven't seen a dramatic improvement in our defencive displays over the course of the season. Is it Warbs just hoping we score more than the opposition? Surely not.... |
| News Comment | Chair takes advantage of Rooney's generosity - Report at 08:33:32
It was one of those games that Derby could have easily won, had they actually had half decent strikers plying their trade at 50% accuracy or more. We were very lucky to win this one and even luckier not to lose it. So many wayward passes, especially in the first half. Our youngsters are actually our best players, so why don't we play the entire under23's squad? I agree that our old boys are putting in 100%, because they need to just to be at 50% of where our younger fellas are at. This is not a squad that will get better. Hopefully we will hit 51 points sooner than later and we can play more of our younger guys and build for next season. |
