I might've got this wrong, but it seems like the Birmingham ticket news was released at about 10am Thursday, with sales starting at 11am on the same day and racing through the sales windows. Now seems like the initial allocation is sold out. Any reason it needed to be done in such a rush and presumably they'll be more than the initial? |

Atmosphere in the second half was good, Albert really lifted the crowd TBH. It does feel like we're winning in spite of the formation though. I don't really get what we're trying to do most of the time. |
| Forum Thread | Away tickets question at 05:43 31 Aug 2021
I'm booking a trip home from Canada and want to make sure I can fit in as many games with my Dad as possible. So the week of Fulham, Blackburn, Peterborough looks like the one. My only concern is getting tickets for Fulham away. My Dad's got 175 points, any chance of it going down that far? Also are Sky going to be c__ts and move the game to Friday night? Cheers! |

17th Middlesborough A 20th Swansea A 24th Norwich H 1st Stoke A 8th Luton H Given how bad we've been on a couple of days rest this season, might it be an idea to put the reserves out at Swansea and rest up for Norwich, who by that time will be confirmed champs and on the beach? I think there's potentially 4 wins there, but only if we rest a good amount before Norwich. Put in Lumley, Kakay, Nico, Gubbins, Duke-McKenna, Bettache, Kelman etc, tell them they're playing off a +2 handicap and see if they can draw from there. No pressure. |

Thought I'd make this separate from the main thread because you fancy a lot might start to happen. Non-leagues below Step 3 started at the weekend with fans. Seemed to go relatively well, but now Merthyr Town are asking for a season's hibernation from the Southern League because being in Wales they can't have fans in. IoM, IoW and Guernsey have already been granted these. Meanwhile Macclesfield went bust and Wigan's administrators released an interesting statement: https://wiganathletic.com/news/2020/september/Statement-From-The-Joint-Administr TBH the behaviour from clubs in the Championship and below has astounded me, unless everyone is in play as you play contracts, there are going to be clubs going to the wall left, right and centre. |

New long-term contract please! |

Always thought they looked a cut above TBH. Both bad goals to concede though. Maybe that's Warburton's excuse to drop Lumley? |

I've skipped to the final episode, just to watch the meltdown. The Russell Crowe voiceovers are so cringeworthy. |

What are the odds that McClaren pisses this up the wall, makes 7 changes and we go out limply - ending any real spark in the season until our FA Cup exit in January? |

Had quite a few chances in the second half. Shame we couldn't perform in the first half. Btw Eze is the MESSIAH. He looked great and composed on the ball, always wanting it. Encouraging actually. |

A win away, a win away etc! Oteh missed a fantastic chance after a minute, after a nice ball by Conor. Another half chance in the first 10 minutes before 20 minutes of absolute dross from both sides. Oteh somehow bumbled one in (deserved for his overall performance) after a great header across. Then almost straight away they equalise after some shambolic defending. More dross until half time. TBF to Washington he kept making good runs in behind, I just wish we'd play it through on the ground more, he will never get much change from huge centre halves. He took his goal well and nearly had a second at 3-1. Luongo with a real life goal OMG! Scrappy but enough to beat a very basic Burton, how they manage to go on the road and win so often is confusing. Furlong has to start next week. I'm guessing the front two will change again, I hope it's Washington out, rather than Oteh, I really liked the look of him. Smith showed he's best coming of the bench. Lovely stuff! |

- Poor game, Birmingham are dogshit, without Smithies' error they had nothing. - We need to talk about Conor... - Can we try Robinson upfront? - Great atmosphere. - I liked watching those Brummies get thrown out. Not sure for what though. - Woo a win away! |

Really looking forward to this now, surely, *surely* this has to be the year to finally win there? |
